I've just been in moss bros in…

I've just been in moss bros in Bournemouth with my son and the sales assistant was extremely rude and off and when we came to leave and we said goodbye and he couldn't even look up and say goodbye. It's a shame because one of them was nice but the other ruined the experience.

Dont buy more than 1 suit on any order …

If you are thinking of buying more than one suit from Moss Bros then I would suggest ordering on 2 separate orders,
When collecting 2 suits, one was offered with a suit cover, the other was without, I was told only one suit cover is provided per order, therefore, the company are saying it is better to order one suit at a time.... not very Savvy at all.... a funny way to do business.

Daniel = Fantastic

Thank you to Daniel (manager at Bournemouth) for the wealth of knowledge - fit/material/alterations - & superior customer service which helped us get the correct suit after we ordered the completely wrong size & fit online ourselves! Your patience & expertise was very much appreciated & needed. Love the suit too.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. If you’re getting married do not use Moss Bros!!

I paid for my4 groomsmen's suits at one store and agreed that they would be delivered to the local stores to where my groomsmen lived. Things started going wrong when Moss then delivered all the suits to the store at which I had paid, not as agreed to local stores.

When I complained to customer services I was effectively called a liar. It took a call from one of the local stores to Moss centrally for them to admit they had made a mistake and that they would forward the suits on to the local stores for my groomsmen to collect them.

On collection none of the suits was correct. Either wrong size / wrong shirt etc. it took an age to correct this.

So in short if you need suits for a wedding go anywhere but Moss, they are beyond awful!!

Zero stars would be more appropriate

Our experience with Moss Peterborough suit hire was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Communication was nearly nonexistent—we struggled to get any clear details about the suit’s availability, pick-up, or return, leaving us stressed right up until our wedding day.

When we finally picked up the suit, the quality was appalling. Several pieces were stained, and one even had a burn mark. It was shocking that these flaws passed any sort of quality check. Trying to resolve these issues in person only added to the frustration, as the staff were dismissive and rude, especially over the phone.

To make matters worse, Moss Peterborough promised a compensatory refund due to the poor service and condition of the suit. Days later, we were told that a refund was only due if some of the items did not show, and because they did, albeit on the day of our wedding, they could only offer voucher as ‘goodwill’. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable, especially from a company that presents itself as a trusted provider for formal events.

If you’re considering suit hire for a special occasion, look elsewhere. Our experience with Moss Peterborough was a source of unnecessary stress on our wedding day.

Terrible service -delayed orders

Terrible delivery service, paid for expedited delivery, order came in multiple parcels - some took 2 weeks and some have still not arrived. No communication. Hugely unreliable and created stress as needed suits for an event. Would not order from them again.

I was so disappointed with the girl at…

I was so disappointed with the girl at check out
My partner has put some weight on and we were having banter between us at paying the bill
She commented on our banter saying I didn’t need to go to the gym
That does not sit well with me when my partner knows he does
He was upset and feeing down because he had to go up size and your service didn’t help his self confidence

Disappointing

Disappointing. Spent almost £150 on 4 work shirts which include picque polos. Washed at 30 degrees as instructed and mis-shapen

Absolute waste of money, such a shame as i was about to buy more but held off to see how they washed. So glad i did!

Leicester Fosse Park - Megan 5* Service

I went to the Leicester Fosse Park store to hire a suit for myself and my 2 sons I was greeted by Megan and the service I received from her was outstanding from start to finish.

From helping chose the correct suit, sizing up all 3 of us correctly and choosing accessories she made the whole experience an absolute pleasure 5* all round thanks Megan!

Tuxedo Hire

I visited the Moss Bros store at the Hatfield Galleria to hire two black Tuxedos for my wedding. The advice and service for the fitting day was excellent from start to finish, very professional and exactly what we needed. On collection it was discovered that I had lost a few pounds and the jacket needed to be changed for a smaller size. No panic, no drama, just taken care of. New jacket couriered in the next morning and fitted perfectly. We were also allowed to try on different size shirts which is quite unique. The hire return was simple and done without issue. I cannot speak for other branches but this one is excellent

Hired a suit as part of a wedding…

Hired a suit as part of a wedding party. Very slow process getting 4 of us sized up, maybe 3 hours it took. And even then couldn’t spell the grooms name correctly. This then caused problems collecting the suits as they couldn’t find the party name, helpful.

In regards to collecting the suits, 2 of us had wrong size jackets, which you’d have thought it would be have been correct in the 3 hour sizing process we had.

My jacket was to then be delivered next day by midday, was then delivered late and close to the wedding date, what if that was wrong again ??

Suit jacket clearly wasn’t cleaned properly as it had crumbs in the pockets from the previous hire.

Upon returning my hire, it felt like an interrogation as I was quizzed on where ‘the wrong jacket size was’. I mean in my mind it’s quite obvious I didn’t take the wrong size jacket and it was left at the store at the final fit 😂

My overall experience was very poor, you’d expect a lot more from a ‘high street name’, and at £130 it should be perfect from start to finish.

I will not be returning, plenty other places that will appreciate custom.

Ordered two suits from a “SUIT…

Ordered two suits from a “SUIT SPECIALIST” apparently for my mums funeral. Well I was expecting the suits to come on hangers but nope. 2 suits tightly squeezed into a small bag. When opened they were all creased and the trousers fell straight on the floor! Tried them on. Jackets fine. Trousers massively under size. When I got the tape measure out they were both 2 inches too small and didn’t fit. Went back to store and they didn’t have any to exchange with. They checked the system and said “there is only one of each size you want in stock. If there were 2 I would be able to order here, but as it’s only 1 I can’t!!!” So… the warehouse clearly can’t grab one item if it’s there on its little own. Pathetic. Complained on FB messenger - no reply! Whole lot taken back to store and refunded and I went elsewhere. Store experience was good though to be fair. The guys in whiteley shopping centre were very friendly and did try to help… it’s the head office and warehouse side that let the company down. I won’t be returning!! *** Just for the record… I went to Next online. Ordered 2 suits. They came on hangers and were bagged. Both fitted perfectly and cost less. Take a lesson moss bros***

Rude

We were happily looking at the waistcoats, when an assistant shouted from the other side of the shop, "They're rental only." His tone was dismissive and he offered no other help, didn't even come over to us or enquire what we were looking for. Felt like a bit of dirt on his shoe. We left the shop immediately with no further help. We are looking at wedding suits to buy, so this rude employee lost you quite a bit of business, from your Chichester shop today

Please do not order from this company

Please do not order from this company. The reviews speaks for itself and the customer service team refuse any compensation for any inconvenience caused no matter how extreme.

I ordered a backpack as a gift for someone and it was delivered with a white stain on the front. After speaking with the customer service team, I re-ordered and returned the original backpack to my local store. The next backpack I received was sent with security tags on, meaning I once again have to go back to my local store!

This is extremely frustrating and the customer service team accept no blame. I asked for a reasonable solution, hoping for some type of compensation due to the inconvenience caused, but at most they offer a gift card despite me explaining I have no trust in ordering from them again.

After weeks of emails, Nicole has just confirmed they will ignore any emails going forward. Similarly, the man I spoke to on the phone has said that because Nicole has decided that, no matter what I said, they would not discuss it any further.

Please do not waste your time. There are reviews much worse than this from people being let down for weddings and proms etc, it really isn’t worth it.

Nicole and Stuart are extremely blunt and show no remorse.
