Buyer Beware!

Update: May 2: Two weeks after my post (and their reply) and can say the best attribute of Mosso AI is their ability to write friendly letters and content that carry an air of concern and cooperation. Was able to find resolution through Visa (and NOT PayPal), and will most definitely avoid Mosso. I broke my own rule and did not do an on-line search of reviews before signing up for a temporary, 8-week membership with this company, and paid for that with a loss of time and money.

April 19: This site is quite troubling and wish I had never opened the ad.

I naively signed up for the 8-week trial, found absolutely nothing of interest, and cancelled (or so I thought), accepting the $29.99+tax as a stupid waste of money....shame on me. Never looked at the site again.

Except apparently in Mosso world I had entered some sort of binding agreement that I was not aware of until 2 months later when they charged my PayPal account $103.99. Now, after several emails, they are offering a 50% discount (and this after an email from the company 12 or so days prior that I would see no further charges). Contracts and subscriptions are not obvious (I engage in commerce on-line quite a bit and not a rookie at this) and charges appear without notice that they are coming.
Stay away!

Very unhappy

Very unhappy. App will not add personal preferences. I only wear v neck tops, it could not accommodate this request, also had the entire season incorrect for my location. I used this for about an hour tops and am struggling to get a refund. DONT USE THIS

DON'T DO IT

Update: I am increasing from 1 star to 3 as after this review they credited my money (and asked me to update this review)

I joined Mosso fashion Assistant and could never create my account. I was locked out and received no responses from Support. Then the $58 charge came through that they refused to refund more than half....I WAS UNABLE TO EVER ACCESS THEIR SITE. very disappointing

Do not click on any offer

Do not click on any offer. They will say you subscribed even though you did not. Absolute scammers! In reply to their response below. I contacted them straight away after money was taken out of my account. Initially they offered a 25% refund which I refused, then a 50% refund, which I begrudgingly accepted. Over a week later I still have not been refunded. 😟

UPDATE - it gets worse! I was charged only to find out that my phone is unable to load the app due to being an old phone. Also the process for doing so was extremely complex and well beyond my capabilities. I cancelled the subscription and have tried to get a refund but their system just takes me round in circles. There does not appear to be any customer service number or email. Disgraceful.I have now been contacted and provided with an invalid email address to complain to!!!!

waste of money

Only knows how to style someone in there twenties.

There style advise/ideal pieces to wear do not match the style of pieces in your capsule wardrobe. They contradict eachother.

Don’t waste your time or money.

No refunds either.

The Mosso were not very good.

The Mosso were not very good.
The hair colours to choose from were very limited.

The colour pallete were non existent, only with a few dots or recommendations. Nothing I can use in real life to plan my wardrobe around in day to day life.

The capsule wardrobes were a joke. With so much unflattering clothes, which I would never wear.
I did answer the quiz, which asked me what outfits I would wear, but my recommendations did not reflect that.

This company is a complete rip off

This company is a complete rip off. If it let me give 0 starts I would.
I have been double charged and charged too frequently for 3 months now. Shame on me for not noticing the overcharges, shame on Mosso for taking advantage of their customers.
I did go in and cancelled my subscription on 4/8/26 and somehow I was again charged on 4/16 for a subscription that even Mosso is verifying was already cancelled. I have emailed them multiple times yet crickets, nothing, not one word of their wrong doing,

I am sorry for all customers that have had an experience like mine. I do expect a refund but I have a feeling that they may never respond to my concerns.

NOT FOR PLUS SIZED LADIES

The site advertised plus size options. The initial questionnaire asked for height and weight so it’s logical to think that their recommendations would include plus size fashion. IT DOES NOT! I was hesitant to try this service but was offered an 80% to check it out, however, even with the discount I had to spend another $80 to get anything more than more that what was available on the click bait. Not workable for the Canadian market. Customers service responded to my correspondence quickly.

Complete waste of time and money

While the ads were promising, Mosso is a complete waste of time and money. I am open to different ideas, but Mosso offered nothing of any value. For starters, they incorrectly identified me as a Spring, and other reviewers reported the same thing. Actually, I am an Autumn, and glow in shades of olive, mustard, and warm browns. After resetting the app to the right color palette, I reviewed the suggested tops — which were many, but disappointingly, offered very little variety. Within an hour, I cancelled my membership, and according to the app, my membership has been cancelled. Nevertheless, other reviewers continued to be charged after cancelling their service, so i am uneasy. If necessary, i will close the credit card account that I used at sign up; I’ll do anything to avoid throwing bad money after good. Forewarned is forearmed: steer clear of Mosso.

This is the worst thing ever!

This is the worst thing ever!
I asked for a refund because I never used it on the first place and they would keep charging me although I belived it was a one time fee.
However, they confirmed the refund and only refunded me 29.99. 3 days after I was charged again 69.99.
Its terrible. I really dont know how to stop this and I am talking with the bank.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I was charged $19.95 to download the app Feb 25. The app gave genetic recommendations and was not good. I asked to cancel on March 25. On April 9 I was charged another 57.90. I have emailed the company and they will not respond.
