I paid £80 for the Tommee Tippee complete feeding kit and it's been a disaster. The bottles are tiny, the bibs strangle my baby, the bottle warmer doesn't work, and the steamer nearly blew up my kitchen. Mothercare sent me a new kit with the same problems. It's no wonder this company is going bankrupt. Don't waste your money on such crap.
Great product, Poor service
As someone that owns the silver cross 4, the cross 5 is very similar. Packed with all the great features you become accustomed to. However on the customer service side it leaves much wanting. First of all a major flaw in your click and collect was no requirement for ID or signature upon receipt. Secondly I received a follow up email a couple of days after collecting advising me that collection hadn’t been completed. I’m sure you can see the loophole here! Thirdly as a non-UAE citizen I wished to get a tax free invoice which was not done in store or through online support. Please take this as constructive criticism and not an attempt to make you look bad.
This travel system is without doubt the…
This travel system is without doubt the worst purchase we’ve made for our baby. I asked boots/ mothercare customer services two questions regarding the car seat which are important for my baby’s safety, regarding the placement/ incline of the car seat as there is no indicator on it, which literally all modern car seats have these days, except this one! The response was ‘we don’t know’. Well you should know because it’s crucial that a baby is at the correct angle and that their chin doesn’t touch their chest, to protect against SIDS. Further down the line I asked if the grey insert can be removed as my baby is getting very squashed in there, she’s only 4 months and far from a big baby. Again the response was ‘we don’t know’. The icing on the cake came today when I asked if there was a warranty on the car seat as a part has broken. Yes there is a one year warranty I was told. But no parts! I have to return the WHOLE travel system to store, wait for it to be delivered back to the warehouse, then wait for a replacement to be delivered back. So that’s almost a week I’d be without items as crucial as a pram and a car seat. I asked if next day delivery would be possible and got a simple ‘no’. Oh and it depends on stock too! So I could return the travel system, they could discover that there’s no stock available to send me a replacement, and then I’d be left with no pram or car seat indefinitely! I will never buy anything for my baby from here again as the customer service is non existent!

I would like to give a BIG ZERO to Mothercare. I live in Australia and this dress is worth $10 there at max. I have taken it as day to day wear along with other Hamley's brand items beautiful dresses thinking its 499 rs but the actual price is 4,499 written with a big gap between 4 and 499. Mothercare refused to refund me the amount back and asked me to take other items as exchange items. I have paid 10,200 in total just because of that 4,499 blunder. I will never ever go to that store and will tell all my friends not to use this brand. Very poor way of making customers fool. A day to day wear item selling at cost of almost 5000 rs. Shame on you.
Mum shaming horrible staff
I’m writing to say about the horrible experience in Morhercare in Ilford. I went in to enquire about a pram, explaining how it needs to be practical, I was told that my pram should be for my baby not for my shopping! Being a single mum, having a practical pram that can go easily into busy shops & can take some shopping was needed! Not being mum shamed, woman was damn rude! Glad it’s been closed down!
Horrible Managers @ Brent Cross branch
Horrible Managers @ Brent Cross branch
Thank goodness they've closed down, it was about time to be honest. The HR manager and main manager at that branch are like tweedle dee and tweedle dum. They follow their employees around and are constantly watching them, making the employees uncomfortable. They forced the employees to tell customers to write good reviews on google. When they fire an employee or an employee quits they tell the remaining staff that the employee was begging for their job and if they don't like the employee they'll find ways and means to get the employee fired.
Such horrible management. Thank goodness they closed down !

Can someone from mothercare contact me ASAP PLEASE
Swift reply from Rachel with required information
I sent an email enquiring about products as I needed to purchase online without visiting the shop and seeing items in person. I got all the correct advice from Rachel very swiftly and she also took further requests about other items that were not in stock and quickly found out when they’d be back for me. All sorted very quickly to allow me to make my order and avail of the current sale. Thanks a mill!
Great customer service
My order got lost so I contacted Mothercare. I spoke to Rachel. She was brilliant. She got my order out to me in a few days. Superb costumer care.
Rachel at Mothercare customer service…
Rachel at Mothercare customer service is brilliant. I lost my order since 7 March and she was there all the way redirecting itv, supporting me and getting it delivered today . Great job Rachel thanks for everything 🙏
Advice for car seats
I contacted via email looking for advice between two car seats during lockdown. I was just sent links to the ones they have online and not offered the advice on what I asked.

Very helpful customer service
Made an online order and had issue with courier delivering but contacted mothercare via email and they (Rachel) was more than helpful. Quick turnaround on emails aswell which was great to see. Will definitely be ordering again.
Damaged Goods
I purchased a cot when it arrived it was damaged. The website offers no contact details but I managed to get an email address from the delivery company. I made contact initially and have been blanked now for over a week even though I have sent a mail every day. They have an appalling customer service I can't get an exchange or refund and have no way to make contact. I am disgusted with a big company such as Mothercare behaving this way.

Extremely rude staff
Went in to mothercare in tralee wanted information about a product first lady admitted no knowledge she asked her colleagues who were rude unhelpful and disinterested. At the the time there were more staff than customers in the store so they were not busy. Not the first time I have experienced this and my friends have had similar encounters with rude staff in this shop

I went to the new mothercare store in Wellpark Galway. They didn't have the item I was looking for, teats for the older model of Dr Brown's anti colic baby bottles. It appears the teats are not available anymore as the new model has a different fitting neck....something that's just a way of making people buy new bottles all over again....however I found the sales assistant most helpful. Thank you.
I'm finding Mother Care terrible
I'm finding Mother Care customer service terrible to deal with, so slow. I ordered a highchair, but it arrived had scratches on it in a few places, so I contacted them about a replacement. They were nice and said they would replace it. But now it's going into the third week and still no sign of the replacement highchair. I'm so dissatisfed and wouldn't recommend anyone to shop with Mothercare.
Rude staff Tallaght
Rude staff. Not the first time I have gone in there and been meet with sullen faces and bad attitudes. Retraining and recruiting is what’s needed for this store. Manager is a disgrace and lost the enthusiasm for the job and by the sounds of it life also. Will NEVER shop here again
Great stores V poor home delivery
Great stores sadly let down by their chosen very poor home delivery partners.
If it’s not available at the store, you are better off buying from somewhere else.
MotherCARELESS
I've bought pram online. Next an email from warehouse arrived telling that there no black color in their stock but only red. Naturally I have asked why this wasn't reflected in their website, why they are advertising the things not presented in their stock in fact. Is this comply with EU distance selling regulations? No reply and no communication after that. I am lucky to purchase the pram using PayPal so getting money back through procedure of Resolution Centre. But this company is unreal. How do they survive on the market?
Excellent,friendly service.
My daughter and I went to Eastbourne Mothercare and received excellent, friendly service. The lady who served us demonstrated the pram / pushchair in great detail and was very attentive and patient with our questions. She took the time to find a compatible car seat to fit the pram frame and found us a really good deal . I felt the service and customer care from herself and the lady at the till was very genuine and caring . We live quite a long drive away and will not hesitate to visit again. Unfortunately I didn’t look at their name badges but our visit was on the 27 th July pm .
