Highly recommend for anyone who does not have a family member or friend in medicine. I wrote my personal statement, had a number of non-medical people look at it, and all thought it was fine. After submitted it for review on Motivate MD, I found out I was missing key elements in both structure and content.

My experience with Motivate MD has been nothing short of fantastic. With their guidance and resources, I got accepted into 6 schools, in both MD and DO programs! They have a large database of medical students that can help you with each part of the application process depending on which systems you are applying through (AMCAS, AACOMAS, or TMDSAS). I started from the very beginning with Natalie, and she guided me through my personal statement, activity descriptions, secondaries, etc. She was integral to my application process and helped me articulate my passions and showcase my voice/personality through my essays! I did not feel forced to follow a cookie-cutter mold for my application, and Natalie really empowered me to write about what felt true to who I was (and clearly it worked out). I could not speak more highly of her!! The interview prep resources were also very helpful in receiving personalized feedback from medical students. I utilized Motivate MD up until the very end of my cycle, even asking for help on how to send thank you and update letters. If you are on the fence about using Motivate MD's services, do it!
