I contacted Motermec looking for a Dual…

I contacted Motermec looking for a Dual Mass Flywheel for my Volvo V70 D4. It was sadly out of stock everywhere even the manufacturer LUK was out of stock...Motermec at least allowed me to place to the order, everywhere else wouldn't even allow me to do that because it was out of stock. Motermec kept me updated in regards to when the part was due to be delivered and they were as good as their word. Also their price was competitive with other stockists. Their customer service was excellent and I appreciated not having to constantly chase them for updates. I would definitely use them again even though they are quite far from me as they have proved themselves to be genuine and reliable

Terrible delivery service

It doesn’t mater what you do if you can’t deliver the goods with a reputable delivery firm. They unfortunately represent you. Evri have to be the worst delivery firm ever. And this reflects on your performance. If I had known that was your delivery company of choice. I would and will used someone else.

We actually picked packed and dispatched your delivery with 3 hours.
The delivery company admittedly took 4 working days to deliver which we will take up with them but the nett effect was only a 1 day delay. Whist this is inconvenient admittedly, I feel that it should not warrant a 1 star review which has a big effect on our reputation as a business. I am sure you would not appreciate the same to yours if your local motor factor delivered something late to your garage.
Update.... I can see from the tracking log that the courier tried to deliver on both the Thursday and the Friday before successfully delivering on the Monday.

Don't buy multiple items!

customer service saying its an evri issue not theirs, clearly a mix-up their end.
Tried calling calling customer service on 01458 836171 and its been ringing for 18 min with no answer. (From my landline not the mobile they have)

Motormec list items as "in stock" when they're not

Motormec listed item as "in stock" when it wasn't. So, you place an order, expecting your part to arrive in the time frame you need, only to be informed later (3 days in my case) that the item is not in stock. AND, even then, their website will continue to show your item is in stock. On the positive side, they promptly refunded me. Note: After this, I ordered the same item again through a different website, only to find said different website are part of same company (thus still not in stock, and was refunded again.)

Below is a timeline of events. at 17.24 on Friday 4/7 you placed your order. The part was showing as in stock with our supplier and had an estimated lead time of 3 - 5 working days. SKF are not open at the weekend so on Monday 7/7 we contacted them at 10.05 to place the order and were advised that the part was out of stock and not available until 8th September. At 11.13 we emailed you to advise this and offered you the options to wait or whether you wished us to look at an alternative brand for your requirement. At 11.34 you emailed to confirm that you wanted us to cancel the order. At 11.35 you placed a second order for the part which I can only assume was an error. We have a record of a couple of phone calls between you and customer service over the next 2 days and I can confirm that a refund was raised on 8/7 at 10.42.

I have checked this morning and the part is now showing as out of stock.

Apologies that we could not source your part and our website was showing that our supplier had stock. We try to be as accurate as possible with our stock availability and that of our suppliers and on balance we find that linking in with our supplier partners stock holding has advantages to our customers. However on some occasions the data we get is incorrect as was the case this time.

Thanks for the review. Yes unfortunately this product was only available direct from Bosch and they take about 1 week to deliver from Germany. Hopefully this was made clear at point of sale and in the order documentation.

I recieved a response from the company directer which has resolved my issue in a total satisfactory way so i have no problems with supporting this company going forward.

i had to return the part and spoke to one of there managers who gave me an address to return the item , which i did sending him a copy of the royal mail ticket.
but as yet no refund and all my attempt to contact him through text , email and calling there telephone number have failed.
