DO NOT BUY FROM MOTORPOINT
I recently purchased a car from Motorpoint which within three weeks, 3 of the 4 tyres had perished and were advised by an Independent garage they needed replaced. Motorpoint requested I go to the Independent garage for a Tyre Diagnostic Test, when i returned with the results Motorpoint said they did not care that the garge advised they be replaced because they were still "Motorpoint Standard" which is a phrase I have come to understand means as poor as legally possible. Not to mention the rude and dismissive behaviour of the support staff. Avoid at all costs.

Reasonably easy to make the purchase and the price was fair to average. However lots of pressure was put on me to buy, by the HQ in Derby. Despite my having put a deposit on a vehicle to reserve it, I got a call from them asking me to decide there and then if I was going to buy. The guy who called me (while I was at a social function and I told him so) kept pressuring me and said if I did not book a pick up time the car would be put back on sale. I've removed a couple of stars because of this.
The sales staff at the Glasgow branch were friendly efficient and easy to deal with and the car was fine, although it could have been a wee bit better presented. No care had been taken to clean under the bonnet. It wasn't too bad but I would have expected them to wipe away the dust on the air filter, etc. It seems they don't do this.
