I and my family members have bought and exchanged many cars in the past. Our experience has always been very satisfactory to say the least.
This current experience was very good too. We came across two sales advisers and both were excellent in their dealings. They were very friendly and helpful in manner and attitude.
Sold me a faulty car
Miss sold car finance
Added extended warranty without permission
No one taking ownership
Constant lies
Continue to be ignore
It started off so well too…..Maybe this week you will actually contact me before I go to the motor ombudsman

On first speaking with Kaylum Sharp the salesman he was very welcoming and polite, but not to full on, as some salesmen will tell you anything to get your sale, he listened to my requirements, and was very informative on the cars on the lot, when I made my choice he told me so much about the car, which put me at ease with my concerns I may have had, highly recommended if your serious about purchasing a car, Motorpoint were amazing and thank you
I purchased a car from Motorpoint. The salesman I dealt with (Kaylum) was fantastic, however, I was a little disappointed with the car itself. In pictures, it had the OE-equipped Bridgestone tyres on all wheels, but when I came to collect it, two new Nexen tyres had been fitted to the front – a cheaper, lower-quality brand.
There were a few small marks/scuffs and a deeper scratch present on the car that I believe would typically be addressed during standard preparation at most dealerships. Based on previous phone calls, I was led to believe any noticeable marks would have been rectified during the car’s prep. Under sunlight, the car is covered in buffer trails from where it has been poorly polished which now will require a paint correction (done properly) to get rid of these.
The car was missing its rear model designation badge, and the front badge had been replaced with an aftermarket black one – replacing both with original Audi parts will cost in excess of £70. The steering wheel is slightly off-centre, which is frustrating as I’ll now have to pay for an alignment. This should have been identified and corrected during the car’s supposed road test and mechanical preparation, and it’s disappointing that no offer was made to sort it – only a discount of the £149 transport fee was offered when I raised the aforementioned disappointments with the car (which I don't believe is enough).
Lastly, the car didn’t come with floor mats. While I appreciate Motorpoint sells them separately, I expected a car priced at over £22,000 on a forecourt to come with mats as standard.
Overall, I’m feeling a little disappointed due to the above, and I would be reluctant to purchase another car from Motorpoint unless these were resolved.
Update: I have also just noticed that all of the wheel nut covers are missing from the car, despite them being present on the wheels in the pictures I received of the car from Motorpoint at the time I reserved it. This is extremely frustrating, and another additional cost I will have to pay to source replacements when they should have stayed on the car...

Many thanks to Johan for making the purchase of my new car such an easy and enjoyable experience, from having a test drive to putting a tank of diesel in before I picked it up the following day. Cheers!
The Motorpoint team we spoke to at Manchester (Ryan and Abdul) were excellent with lots of help and knowledge. Plus we were left to look at the cars in peace without abnormal levels of sales pressure.
Used motorpoint before
I would buy again from them.
Just noticed rear door not flush with body may need a repair.
Easy to deal with, excellent service, no qualms about dealing with them again.
Great range of vehicles ,knowledgeable staff especially mamnoon who went the extra mile setting up my new vehicle, good prices and swift painless transaction from initial contact to handover
Tahrim Ahmed went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase made us feel at ease.
I have bought from motorpoint 3 times before and all cars have been of good quality but I have been extremely disappointed with the customer service of my last 2 purchases. For both my last 2 cars I had them moved to the Manchester Branch and the customer service has been appalling both times. The staff have been rude both times and the manager finds every flaw possible in my car to ensure that I didnt get my money that was agreed. We dealt with a staff member called Jack Hadfield in the Manchester branch and he was the most unwelcoming car salesman I have dealt with. He was rude and the overall attitude was quite disgusting. When I questioned about my car price, I got a abrubt reply. His replies were as if he was ready for an argument. This is the second time I have bought from the Manchester branch and both times I have had a bad experience. I have had the price knocked down of my car both times and they always seem to find some small microscopic detail which always seems to make the price of car I was part exchanging decrease. When I went home with my new car I notice that the caps on the both the driver side tyres were missing and there wa a few scratches on the bottom bumper as well as a small dent on the passenger side window trim, yet I had £150 knocked down for my vehicle despite it being in good condition. I have bought 3 times from Motorpoint in the past and they sell good quality cars, but it's a shame because their customer service specifically in the Manchester Branch let's them down. I believe its because I've had the car moved from the Derby branch, therefore the Manchester Branch haven't made the sale which I believe is the reason they behaved in such a way. I won't be buying from here again.

Choosing the car was the easy part. Having to pay to have it brought to a more local site was expensive and I had an issue with the lack of the service history which only got resolved after I had to say that if it was not forthcoming then I would buy it from somewhere else.

Motorpoint Manchester. It was a great experience, and I don`t think it will be my last. It was also my first time using MotorPoint, and it was stress-free. I bought a Mazda CX5 Newground 24 reg and 12000 miles. I had been to RRG in Stockport and was quoted about £31000 (New) Nearly new approx £28000, and finally 1 year old £26000. Perrys the cheapest Newground was approx £25000. I got my car considerably a lot less than those dealers, a lot less. The staff at Manchester Motorpoint, were exceptional in terms of professionalism. They were cheerful, polite and very helpful in their pursuit of excellance. I was offered tea, coffee, and water which is standard to most company`s, but it was offered with sincerity and with a smile. All lthe staff, I met, were all busy, but importantly asking " Are you being looked after, can I get you anything" The Manager, Ryan a cool ajudacator, sweetend the deal, and rightly concluded the purchase with Abdul my friend for the day. I do not favour singling out individuals for special recommendations, as it is a collective team effort, however, this lad did a very good job, in my purchasing the car. He worked effortlessly, and demonstrated it with patience. For a young man he highlighted the need and dedication coupled with hardwork. Abdul is prepared to sow the seeds to harvest a good career, to be a success in what he chooses in life. Good luck, son, and thank you all at Manchester Motorpoint for a nice and affordable purchase.
