Take the money and run.....

Like the 2 other people that left the same review..... I ordered one item, got a confirmation that it shipped. I waited a month, got an email that it was lost in the mail and they would send a replacement. Still nothing. A funny thing--they sent a survey about their customer service!!!!!!!!!

Article Fraud - MotorTrend Staff Intentionally Use AI-Generated Articles Without Disclosure

Fraudulently uses AI-generated article images without disclosure. See their website news article "The Dirtiest Side of EVs: Rare Earths and Conflict Metals" on April 25, 2024. If website staff attempt to cover up this malicious behavior, Archive.org can be used to view old versions of the page that display evidence of the behavior.

Use of fully artificial, AI-generated imagery without disclosure represents egregious fraudulent behavior and deception to site visitors who have a reasonable expectation that a website's images are authentic, real, and genuine photos, images, or art. In addition, failure to disclose AI-generated content means this site may use AI-generated articles or even AI-generated audio (e.g. podcasts), without informing its audience, in a fraudulent and immoral attempt to gain profit. For this reason, this site cannot be trusted. 1 out of 5.

Ordered one item from the online store. Got charged immediately. Got order confirmation immediately. Weeks went by and no delivery eta, no tracking number, and no reply to my emails. Will never spend another dime on Motortrend ever again.

The Motor Trend store is a straight…

The Motor Trend store is a straight ripoff. I placed an order 6 weeks ago and still haven't received anything. They charged my card the day that I placed the order, but now they won't even respond to the emails that I send their customer support. The Motor Trend store and the Wildflower Group they use are just a scam.

It’s an ok website

It’s an ok website, not particularly good, but it’s not poor at all means either. It’s about average. Like the jaguar f pace s. It’s sportier than the acura mdx, but not as sporty as the Porsche Cayenne. Anyway, the reason I rate it a tad bit lower than edmunds and car and driver is because they don’t really organize their reviews as well, and they can say some harsh stuff from time to time. Here’s a good example: 2019 Porsche Macan review: “The Macan S exhibits razor-sharp precision in the city, on the highway, and on the track, but not as much in the parking lot. At very low speeds, the steering becomes heavy and stiff to an uncomfortable point, and you really have to press on the accelerator to get it going. It almost feels like you forgot to disengage the parking brake.’’ Read that last line again: “it almost feels like you forgot to disengage the parking break.” I mean, come on, can you really say that about a Porsche?!?! Come on, motortrend. You don’t need to go that far. Forgot to disengage the parking break? I mean, cut it some slack! Jesus Christ! Another example: “ In areas other than performance, the Macan S doesn't lead the pack. Inside the cabin, you'll find comfortable leather seats and a responsive touchscreen, but many parts of the dash feel hard and less than premium in our $74,650 tester.” Many parts of the dasher feel hard! You have got to be kidding me, motortrend! You’re dissing a car from a brand that is well known for its quality. It’s not terrible, though. Just a few things I wanted to point out. Overall, DECENT website. Could use a few pointers here and there, however. :)
