Invested a trial amount in July 2021 (it's gone forever)

Invested a trial amount in July 2021.
I got lured into IAMGOLD with the promise of decent returns in few months. Then I changed into AIU, the same like i read from many of other reviewers. I wanted to get my money back, even at a loss but without further expenses: no success in that. Every time they call back with a new representative blessing me for how fortunate i am for having earned 1500% on my initial investment, and once they say I will receive soon the money, at the very last they come out with "oh by the way just pay some kUS for this warrant if you don't mind"... (about twice of my initial investment).
So as I read from others, it's clear now: no illusions to see that money again. Feeling so stupid... at least it was only a trial amount, but still it's money.
They still call me every now and then, mostly from Japan, the latest guy is lovely. I let him talk...

@ Heinz, what’s the name of your contact?

They use VOIP, so it’s impossible to know if they are calling from Japan.

Why so few reviews?

I invested about $25k in MEG after…

I invested about $25k in MEG after purchasing shares in IAM, that was 2 years ago. They keep calling with a different rep from all sorts of numbers so I can't trace or call back. If anyone has had the same issues please get in touch so we can form a class action law suit against these scammers and stop this happening to other people out there. @Jean Megow, how do i get in touch with you?

I have the same experience - it is a big scam

I have the same experience as another "customer" here. Also in respect to investment IAMGOLD. It is really the exact same story and with every communication it only gets worse. Whenever I get insistent on terminating the business relationship the investment manager changes and I then the new guy has no history to build upon. Everything seems to be a big scam. I have no confidence to ever see my funds again (and I am glad it was only a "trial" amount).

This is a scam

This is a scam. They speak well, provide an initial "win" and ask you for more. They are in turn friendly, pushy or agressive and make up stories that are believable under pressure. They are experts at being top-ranked on Google for their articles on scam prevention and build credible - if thin- websites for the companies whose equity they offer. I never got a cent back, and they keep coming back with "we have secured a huge win, you just need to send us a little more money"
for all kinds of "technical" reasons

Mount equity is an absolute scam

I can unfortunately only confirm the stories from my predecessors… mount equity is an absolute fraud!! Please do not waste your money on bs stories. Fortunately I only invested a small amount so learn and weep I guess… be careful. They only call via VOIP and cannot be traced back to. I tried calling back without luck. They are stubborn and despite telling them to stop hassling me for more money they just keep on calling. So be warned and stay away… they have been getting on my nerves for 2 years now!!!!

Fraudulent Brokers

I seriously warn against the business practices of Mount Equity Group, a private equity broker based in Tokyo. I was spontaneously contacted by MEG in October '21. They initially made an absolutely professional impression. I bought shares of IAG (IAMGOLD Corp) through them in November '21 after several phone calls to MEG's "compliance" department, among others. In Feb 21 the advisor approached me about a takeover deal the broker had learned about. This would be about the high tech company AIU Inc. being bought out by a big "Big 500". Possible profit margin 250%... I was skeptical and ultimately did not agree. 3 weeks ago I gave written order to sell the position IAMGOLD. I am still waiting for my money to this day. I have threatened several times to write this review. I will repeat this as long as and gradually also disclose the "probably" false identities of the consultants. I will also file a request for criminal prosecution. If other investors have invested here, get in touch, so that possibly a class action can take place.
This company rips off well-behaved professionals, pensioners and savers.
