I ordered a watch Sun 3/22. I was sent an email telling me that I’d get tracking information in two to three days. I waited all week for an email letting me know my watch had shipped. It never came. Even checked my spam folder just in case, nothing. The order status in the website only said “Fulfilled” but not “shipped.” I tried to use the contact form on the website, but I could only type a few words in the comment box; not enough for a full WTH message. I found their number and called on Sat and used their automated system to inquire about my order, but it said more information was needed. I set a reminder to call Monday morning. Watch came Sat via USPS about ten minutes after I’d contacted them. Watch looks good, it arrived, but their communication is quite lacking.

Scam company with scam service.

I purchased a watch and paid overnight delivery.
Instead of it being shopped overnight, it shipped with 4 day delivery!
No customer service, no live chat, no reply to my emails. Worst company in history.

Bad returns

I've bought several watches from Movado and never had an issue until now. I wanted to return a watch and get a different one. They don't do exchanges, so I went and purchased the new watch, intending to return the first one. Went to use their international returns platform, and get an error message that the transaction isn't recognized. I write them and they say they'll get me a return label. That was 10 days ago, I have yet to receive a return label. I have followed up a couple of times since then and all is get is, "we appreciate your patience and understanding, rest assured we will let you know as soon as the label is ready". Gee, thanks. I don't understand why it takes so long to generate a label that I should be able to just print at home, but can't because of an error on their website!

Not Worth the Price

I ordered a Movado Face, which came in so many layers of cardboard packaging that it felt like a whole forest was destroyed just to deliver my watch. I guess the excessive packaging is there to give you an illusion of getting a premium product, but this watch is everything but premium: it’s very lightweight, borderline flimsy, and feels like one of those off-brand watches you can get for $50 on Facebook, definitely not worth the $400+ I paid, even though that was supposedly marked down from $600. On the plus side, the strap feels nice and soft, but that’s about it, spend your money elsewhere because this is not worth the price.

Purchased the pink pearl face movado…

Purchased the pink pearl face movado for $450. Lasted 2 hours. The glass cracked thru the inside with no visible hit on the outside of watch !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS WOMENS PINK PEARL GOLD PLATED WATCH. STRAIGHT TRASH!

I purchased a watched from Hudson Bay…

I purchased a watched from Hudson Bay in Canada 4 years ago, which is hardly worn as I have a collection. Recently the glass just fell off I took it in for repair and was told after 6 weeks that it can't be fixed as they can't get replacement part.

I call the head office in The US only to be told that this particular watch was pulled from the market shortly after i purchase because they were having issues with it.

The rep is telling me to send it to US with no guarantee it will be fixed and I could get a discount to purchase a new one if they don't have parts. Now why was it being sold in the first place if they knew it was having issues, why was it not recalled.

Stay away from scam company

Ordered movado watch over new year.
Changed my mind and emailed to cancel the order within 10 mins. They advertise to cancel order within 15 mins which is hassle free. But no one replied to my cancellation email.
One week after watch was shipped and email notification came. Replied on it to cancel the order again but irrespective they sent out watch anyway.

On top of this, USPS lost the watch and asked me to wait for 3 more weeks to see if it shows up.

Worst customer service and customer support.

Lies and bad business practice

I have purchased a few movados over the years and I decided to order one last week for my wife for Christmas. The price was great but I’m still waiting for the watch which came with “2 day FedEx” shipping. Contacted movado tonight to ask what was going on with my order and why it hadn’t arrived yet and was informed that it was sent regular usps mail! I expressed my dissatisfaction and how I felt deceived since the shipping when I purchased clearly stated FedEx 2 day and was responded with the typical apology and excuse. I don’t want excuses and apologies, I want the item I paid for when promised to be here or some kind of compensation for the inconvenience. You need to do better Movado.

The purchasing process was great

The purchasing process was great, shipping was quick, my watch arrived undamaged, and shipment tracking was accurate. The watch itself was new and in great condition upon unpacking. I purchased the Alta SE with the stainless bracelet, gold PVD trimming, and black face. So far, I am happy with the watch and its basic mechanical functioning. The only thing that could have been better; since I ordered online, would have been a small toolkit for adjusting the bracelet to fit my wrist. I couldn't wear the watch out of the box because it was sized far too large and no tools were provided, so I ended up ordering a watch toolkit and waiting for it to arrive so that I could make the adjustment and wear it. Other than that, so far so good.

This company specializes deception

This company specializes in and are masters the switch and bait method for sales. I purchased what was advertised as an Italian suede bag of high quality, but what was shipped to me was a shoddy inferior product that looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the advertised bag and is worth no more than $10,00 tops. They also advertise that they are a US based company, but in order to receive a full refund you have to ship the item back to an address in China, and the shipping fee to China cost more than the shabby purchased bag. DO NOT purchase anything from this company they are nothing but out and out scammers.

Horrible Customer Service - Cheap Product Quality

I really loved my initial Movado watch for its styling. Regrettably the band broke on 2 separate occasions and my battery died. Realizing you are buying style over quality I only wear the watch on occasions. But decided to give them a 2nd try.

In September I ordered one to a friend as a gift and order 2 more in different colors. They totally screwed up my order and after asking me to be at the house to sign for the Fed Ex package - the watches missed 4 promised delivery dates and then sent the package back to NJ. Despite promises of both a returned call, delivery of the package and eventually a refund - nothing. This might be the worst customer service I can recall ever experiencing.

Clearly the watches (while attractive) are sub-quality construction. But their service is even worse.

DO NOT BUY MOVADO

Terrible Customer service

The watch was expensive £395.00. After a few weeks of wear the glass on the face chipped badly. The watch was not dropped or knocked. I tried to contact Movado 3-4 times through their website and got no response. I phoned them, it took forever and had to wait till they called me back. They wont repair the watch unless i pay. Sent the watch to their registered repair centre in Manchester. Im waiting now 6 weeks for a repair quote just to be told that the glass is now obsolete and they need to check with other suppliers for the glass! Rubbish customer service! Never buy from them
Update: Was charged £93.00 for the repair!!!

Watch with 11 diamonds 0.043 tcw(diamond 0.043tcw= $75)
Swiss made watches($100-500 to make it Swiss)
Stainless steel $5/kg
Total $175-575. The watch I bought 1300 on sale through finance so $1600 with interest never buying from here again could of got a 1600 ring on sale with an original value of 3k and its value would appreciate over time.

Purchased coach watch by movado NO GOOD!

Purchased a coach watch by movado. Looked pretty till you hold it. Very light and quite cheap to the touch. As it had the coach and movado names on it, I thought it would be a good timepiece.
But alas,it was not. It works and keeps time when you leave it be, it works but doesn't keep time when on your wrist. Sad excuse for a watch.

MOVADO DID US WRONG!!!

Bought a brand new Movado watch for my husband for Christmas. It arrived, He was sooooooo excited, until he opened it. They sent us a damaged watch. So I worked with customer service, did what they told me, drove the watch to fedex to ship it back for repair or replace. It has been a while but they finally get back to me to say that the watch is out of stock and they, without talking to me, issued a PARTIAL refund to my credit card (which by this point is fully paid off, thank you very much). They refunded most of the watch price but kept $107 until I complained about it then a second refund for $107 was issued. Cheaters!!! Now i have a credit on a credit card, I am out all of that money until i go purchase something else on that credit card, WHAT?! Not only that but my husband now does not get the watch he was so excited about and i have a credit card overpay.. So i talk to a manager who says it should not have gone down that way (i mean I spoke to the manager AFTER speaking to a condescending customer service rep who told me in essence "too bad, so sad, deal with it") and said she would send me a 3 month promo code to hopefully get the price back down to what i initially spent, yikes. But here's the kicker, she never actually sent the promo code, she just said she did. I cannot believe Movado is this terrible.... MOVADO DID US WRONG!!! I will update once I know the final conclusion... I am hoping they fix this and mend the damaged relationship.
