The thought of moving, and approaching 70, felt seemingly unbearable but somehow after I discovered the link to movebuddah, things got much easier. The site is a safe place to venture into uncharted waters and grant helpful info in making a wiser decision. It was easy to navigate and had a clear delineatoin of different ways to move--truck, pods, full-service, etc. I especially learned from reviews about brokers and why to not use them. It was super helpful and opened my eyes to a lot of issues I wasn't aware of. I also liked having reviews, pricing, services offered, and rating methodology all in one place rather than having to jump around to different sites. I also like that Movebuddha is a third-party and independent resource with a compilation of information for every aspect of the process, from what to look for in a mover, state by state guides, and even down to rating moving boxes and where to look for reduced or free boxes. I saved $100s from just learning that information, not to mention avoiding all of the potential pitfalls of working with a shady moving broker or company.

So, my move fell through, due to a change in plans, but they were the cheapest and offered immediate discounts as well. Regardless of who you choose, the box moving is overall cheaper than a moving truck. There customer service was nice, I spoke and emailed with 1 person and they stayed with me the whole time. I would recommend this company. My experience was good.

Older event but it was hard to find the right venue for a review. MoveBuddha does NOT response to any inquiries about the moving firm it recommends. My move was totally amateur --the packers left several boxes and when contacted they said, "tough luck not our problem" When I forwarded this to MoveBuddha I got a resounding ""silence"". AT least three attempts by email to contact MoveBuddha resulted in the same ""no answer.""

Great reviews of moving companies. They were the only one out there that did a 3rd-party review of the moving company I was interested in hiring and it help put me (mostly) at ease with my cross-country move.

The process was easy and I was connected to appropriate movers very quickly.
