Jay and his team were fast and very reliable. Our furniture were wrapped carefully and they have an efficient system that allowed us to move from the old apt to the new one in less than 4 hours. There were extra items that we forgot to include in the list when we initially asked for a quote, but they still allowed those items in the truck. I highly recommend Movers, Not Shakers. They have a huge truck, efficient system, and nice movers.

They took me from Bayridge to NJ and 3 years later I'm calling back. They were great from the very beginning. I called with a dilemma, I had to move but no where to go. They solved it right away with there storage option. I totally recommend them for moving your stuff and taking away from the headache of moving.

Easy and professional. Would recommend them to anyone.

They were competitive with my rate. The movers were quick and efficient. I had a bed with storage that needed disassembly and reassembly. The movers reassembled it better than it was before! Unfortunately my couch didn't fit into my new apartment so they left it in the hallway. But they were clear about their intentions so it was understandable.

Alex and his team were great! They arrived early and got the whole move done in less than two hours.

I am so glad I hired movers for this move from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Alex and his team went above and beyond and I couldn't have been more of a help to me today . They made things smooth and easy !!! Also not one thing broke, they were quiet and very fast and took great care of all of my things.

Rock stars! My only complaint was that they arrived two hours early, which meant I wasn't totally ready, but on the other hand they offered to wait and I told them it was okay to get started. And they were super nice and helpful, very efficient, and kept to the agreed on estimate. They were also very generous with their packing materials! I would definitely use them again.

For my move from Manhattan to Cape May, NJ, I filled out a questionnaire online and received a call back the next day to quote me a price. I thought the price was very fair. The movers were about an hour late to arrive, but they did call 30 minutes after the scheduled arrival time. The movers were very professional and had everything out of my 4th floor walk up within two hours on a very hot day. The truck arrived in Cape May shortly after I did and they moved everything in my new place in less than an hour. Nothing was damaged or broken in the move and they also took apart and then put together a bed. I would definitely recommend them.

Movers, Not Shakers was really great, they showed up on time and were really helpful with packing everything that I forgot to put someplace. They were careful with all my furniture and upon delivery made sure that everything was put in the right spot. I loved that they broke down by bed frame and put it back together in the new place. I would recommend booking the earlier time slot so you don't get pushed back due to other moves in the morning (sorry people after me!).
