We’re truly sorry that your experience with us, which started so positively, has now caused you frustration. We know that you’ve recently become a tea enthusiast, and we’ve always tried our best to help you with any questions you had.
However, technical matters can sometimes take longer than expected, and responses from our support team are not always immediate. I’m still waiting to hear back from them regarding the order total and the possibility of leaving product reviews.

I love Moychay!
I love Moychay! They have an enormous variety of top-quality teas for beginners to connoisseurs, this is the thing that I like the most, the shipping always amazes me because it was so quick, even though I don't live that close to the Netherlands. I think that the teas that they have in stock are chosen very mindfully, also they aren't too expensive nor too cheap just enough for the quality that you're paying for, and just enough to support Moychay and the tea farmers from which they source their teas from. Between the teas that I purchased there was the "Mangang Village Shegtai sheng pu-erh tea sourced in 2024" which really surprised because of the amazing Hui Gan 回甘 (returning sweetness) that it had, hallmark of a good sheng pu-erh. I was really satisfied with my purchase and I hope that other people will discover the world of teas through this brand.

Good track record, but this time fell short
I’ve had good experiences in the past, but unfortunately this time didn’t go as expected. When I arrived at the store to pick up my item, it wasn’t available. I was told it would be shipped to my address instead, but I didn’t receive any updates until I reached out a few days later. At that point, I was informed the item was no longer available and was offered a voucher, which I declined in favor of a refund. It’s been a week since then, and I’m still waiting for the refund to be processed. In the meantime, I received this request for a rating, which feels a bit premature.
UPDATE 22 July: the issue was indeed on the payment processor’s side. While I don’t like that Moychay didn’t sort this issue out with the payment processor and took an easy way out by offering a voucher instead, I updated my rating a bit to account for the fact that this is not completely their fault.

As for the refund, we processed it immediately (and you should have received an email confirmation), but unfortunately, there was an issue with the payment system, and the transaction did not go through.
