hi this people are full of lie put me on hold for 3 days then refuse the work . full of lie all team including there admin as well. they not even deserved one star.

Harry came out on a Saturday evening to clear a blocked surface drain that had lifted the manhole cover and was flooding into the garage. He had it cleared within 20 minutes of arrival. Very efficient and polite, despite having had a very busy day already following 48 hours of incessant heavy rain.

I called MPH with an emergency job and they sent out an engineer same day. Fast response time with professional and experienced engineers. Overall I had a great experience using MPH and i will be using them again.

I had kyle come out and assess the blockage and in no time at all he managed to using his jet machine to blast the drains clear. Would recommend I found affordable!!

MPH Services are very very expensive. Please find any other company for the service you need. Think this company also part of Yorkshire building services so best avoid them as well. Have our septic tank emptied every year, usually costs around £300. Just paid invoice from MPH Services for £546 and tank only three quarters empty.Had they been able to empty the tank the bill would have been well over £600. What a rip off. Apparently the quoted price for job was £285 plus vat, sounded about right, but this only for first 1000 litres of waste. Subsequent waste is £85 per 1000 litres. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Booked MPH to clear a blocked kitchen drain for my daughter. When I got to her house the operator was sticking a camera down the drain to see where it was blocked…. 5 minutes later he said it’s blocked! That will be £180. I challenged this and he said the equipment he used cost £10000. I questioned the relevance of this, as proper tradesmen charge for their expertise and skill. Notwithstanding this, l asked him the cost of clearing the drain, as initially that is what was requested, he quoted in excess of £400. He advised that he didn’t have the necessary equipment on board anyway, so I should buy a Karcher drain blaster, as it would be cheaper!
I assumed they were a local firm, apparently not the case they use a local number and came from somewhere in West Yorkshire. Looking on checkatrade they have good reviews. I will also submit this to them for their observation. I should have looked at trustpilot to gain a truer history of this firm. I would not recommend any use of this firm, they grab your cash without any hint of customer care. By the way, I cleared the drain myself in half an hour and I’m not a professional.

I called out MPH as our drains were completely blocked following flooding from a stream in the garden. (Toilet paper was coming out of the drain underneath our kitchen winfow). MPH had done major work for us putting new drains in to our septic tank several years before.
Someone arrived within 20 minutes of my call to assess the situation and due to the amount of flooding at the property was unsure what they could do to help. He suggested pumping them out and to take a 10am slot the following day.
The following day MPH arrived at around 1, the flooding had subsided by approx 75% by this time. The 2 gentlemen assessed the situation walked around the property and decided that the only option was to pump out the drains but they couldn't say that this would solve our problem.
I took the risk as I felt I didn't have many options and the gentlemen left to get a smaller vehicle as the one they were in couldn't get through the gates! On returning they pumped out 2k litres of water and I think sediment from the drains for which we were charged £444 but again said they couldn't guarantee our problem had been sorted.
2 hours later the drains were overflowing again and we were back to square one.
The following morning myself and husband tried to work out what could be done and as the previous 3 gentlemen did assessed the situation, within 5 minutes we had worked out that the septic tank wasn't functioning and therefore pumping water out would make no use whatsoever.
MPH claim to carry out full drainage solutions, including septic tanks however they failed to identify something as basic as a sceptic tank system making no noise and the pump not working at all.
I do not put negative reviews on sites lightly so contacted MPH on the next working day to give them the opportunity to sort the situation and was told I would get a call back that afternoon. 4 days later and still waiting I called again and was told they hadn't looked at the septic tank - really! I said I wanted to speak to someone senior and was told I would get a call that afternoon but still waiting.
We are extremely disappointed with MPH and feel cheated by their assessment of what was the problem and also their customer service.

They do not get back to you. I've had to chase them, and even when they promise to call you back "tomorrow morning" they don't call you back at all! Very expensive! £300 for an hour's work!!

Called them out for a blocked drain. Responded quickly and got thing up and running.

Very speedy response and the plumber who came out was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. Power cleaned my sewer system and replaced a necessary connector pipe to the rear of my toilet which required going to obtain the necessary part from a local plumbing centre. Charge was very reasonable, especially considering the work entailed.

Advertised as local but in a different county. Charged travelling time. Bought goods on account from Jewson (so would have got a discount) then added a 22.5% mark up on the full price. Charged £190.20 per hour labour. Cost nearly £3k for a day and half work with little materials cost. Complained to company who think the charges are acceptable. Complained to Checkatrade in April and after numerous emails & telephone calls, they now tell me that the company have not responded to them but they have done nothing wrong so won't break the affiliation. MPH will continue to pay a fee to affiliate to Checkatrade & the public will continue to be ripped off. Avoid!!!!!!

Everything explained really clearly re work and price.
All left tidy afterwards.
They could not really have done more.

MPH were booked to empty our septic tank, essential for a survey involving 2 inspectors. I had to chase them on the day as the inspectors were waiting and they hadn’t arrived. On ringing them, I was informed their only tanker was off the road and that they’d tried to call me, despite having the phone in my hand all day with no missed calls or messages left. This has caused a great many problems to which they appear quite indifferent.

Had a huge leak in our rented flat, a few people came out to turn the water off but the real problem persisted. A great guy from MPH came to us tonight and actually cared about finding the problem, found it and dealt with it quickly. All after 9pm on a Saturday. So grateful that he came out to us!

After 4 days of having a blocked toilet and the first company I contacted not turning up I got in touch with MPH. From speaking with a lovely receptionist at 9am Joel arrived at 2pm. He was friendly and professional, assessing the job and giving us a quote. Once the quote was accepted he got to work, and we soon found out our seeming straight forward blocked toilet was anything but. He worked hard and tirelessly to get our bathroom back in working order. I would definitely recommend this company as they have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Absolutely brilliant service, had a completely blocked up foul pipe (fairly far down the line) to the only toilet in the house. Called another national drainage company on Saturday and had an absolute nightmare with them… called these guys on Sunday morning and the engineer (Jamie) was out in two hours and fixed in absolutely no time, great service, clear quote immediately and fixed. Explained the issue clearly to help us avoid in the future and went on his way.

We had a blocked drain so searched for someone local and got these to come out, they say it's a free call out but because he came from Leeds he had to charge £84 call out fee, he looked at the drain and knew straight away that it was the sewer that was blocked, he double checked just to make sure it was, he called Severn Trent on my behalf as it was down to them to clear it as they owned the drains, Colin who came out explained everything to Severn Trent, Severn Trent came out in about an hour to clear it.

Excellent prompt service, no issue too big or small

Had a suspected drain issue, called MPH on a Sheffield number. They were able to come next day to do CCTV look see. Jamie from Castleford came and did that. He found the blockage, caused by a collapse. He showed us the CCTV and explained the repair needed. He then power washed the drain to clear it but was clear it needed a bigger repair. He left us a quote.
We decided to go ahead, called them and booked in. Jamie came back and did the repair for the agreed price, despite a serious setback which involved having to re dig part of it.
Jamie communicated with us throughout. Even made a lovely job of putting the block paving back.
Not cheap but good work from very hard working and competent people.
