Excellent service

Having travelled the Internet for car mats for our VW Golf, I eventually choose Mrcarmats premium velour option as it seemed the best value for money. Having placed the order I called to check progress as our car was du to arrive the next day and we were going on a trip. I spoke to Maxine who kindly went down to the factory to check progress herself and came back to me within 15mins to say the mats would be with me the next day. That's service and they did arrive as promised. The mats themselves are very good quality and fit snug. Better than the VW brand we had before. Very happy and will use again again.

A breathe of fresh air !

I have ordered three sets of car mats from this site in the past 9 months and love the quality and range of product on offer. I have a VW CC with a brown & tan leather interior and was able to match the mats perfectly to suit. Great quality velour too.
My last order went a bit wrong as I inadvertently ordered a BOOT mat instead of the car mats for my sister's Fiesta (birthday gift). Spoke to Mr CarMats over the phone and they agreed that perhaps their website could be better presented. Long story short - they asked me to keep the boot mat and sent me the car mats for a nominal £10, which I think is terrific customer service. Well done !!
I would recommend them to anyone.

No issues with my purchase

I start with a small rant here, I'm actually fed up with reviews on companies that are generally only written if someone has had a bad experience with them. When looking into the options in buying a cabin bed for my child, 123 came up with the best price. I then proceeded to investigate the company to make sure I was not throwing my money away and I was almost put off from buying from this company due to negative reviews.
However, I placed the order due to most of the complaints were around delivery and I had no urgency to receive the goods.
No issues at all, items turned up with no damage and to a good quality for the price I paid. Don't get me wrong, the delivery date was a bit smoke and mirrors and the computer system they use is a bit archaic but I am happy.

Don't fret guys they are fine

Good Quality Poor Service

I ordered a set of mats , including a boot liner from Mr Car Mats for my son's birthday. The interior mats were very good but the boot liner did not fit the car. I had loads of problems trying to contact this company and when I did I was only given a third of the value of the original cost and I had to pay the return postage.
I wouldn't use them again.

Excellent High Quality Product Delivered Quickly

Very Pleased. I ordered the Prestige with a sports trim on a Monday evening and received them Wednesday midday. They were exactly as described and am happy with the quality, exact fit and speedy delivery. In fact just about to order another set for the other car we have. Certainly look like they will last but nice to know they come with a 3 year guarantee if I do have any problems.

Very good indeed

I usually don't bother to write reviews, but I noticed that this business has had several negative reviews, which nearly put me off buying from them; except that I thought the replies they posted seemed reasonable and believable. I therefore took the plunge and bought from them anyway.

Did I make the right decision? Definitely. From memory, the product arrived one day later than stipulated on the website, but that is a very minor point. The product I received was exactly as ordered (deep ribbed beige car mats for a VW Touran) and of a very high standard indeed. They fit our new Touran perfectly and should last for years.

This review is written to help address the balance on Trustpilot.

Would definitely recommend the seller.

Pretty good really.

I thought that Mr Car Mats were ok! They were a day or so later than they said, which seems to have a few complaints, maybe they should change their wording. Generally I had no problems. I got what I ordered, easy website, fitted what more can you ask for from a car mat.

PATHETIC

I E/M AN ORDER FOR 2 CAR MATS FOR MYMX5 LATE WED. NIGHT 7 MAY 14. I RECIEVED THE ORDER LATE THIS AFTERNOONTUE13 MAY 14. SO MUCH FOR THE WEB PAGE STATING THAT ORDERS WOULD BE DISPATCHED WITHIN 24 Hrs. WHEN I TOOK THEM FROM THE PACKAGING I SAW THAT THE HEEL PAD ON THE DRIVERS MAT HAD NOT BEEN STITCHED ON STRAIGHT. SHODY WORKMANSHIP, THEREFOR WHY PAY TOP PRICE FOR SECONDS

How can they be so BAD????

Ordered car mats for a 2001 VW Polo.
They were sent with the wrong locators...
Emailed the seller...they'd reply every 2 days with a "stalling" email..."can you confirm your order number", "what's wrong with them"...then silence.
It was only when I raised a dispute via PayPal did they really take an interest.
Said they'd send out the correct locators...no apology though.
Nearly 2 weeks later...NOTHING.
have now requested a FULL REFUND...
Really terrible customer service...

I have received my mats today – very nice, thank you.

However, the plastic locators don’t appear to be correct. I have a 2001 VW Polo which has much smaller mat locators – the ones provided with the mats are much larger (in fact the ones provided are exactly the same as used by Porsche for their Cayenne).

Can you please advise?

As you can see when you view the listing it VERY CLEARLY states for car models that are fitted with OVAL TWIST TOP PEGS.

The listing also CLEARLY states that as a factory offering customised tailor made products produced to the customers car Selection, Peg Selection, Carpet colour, Carpet Grade and edge trim finish and type. That all mats are excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations and CAN NOT be returned, refunded or exchanged if ordered incorrectly. The customer admits they ordered incorrectly and wishes us to pick up the tab for their ignorance and for the fact they cannot accept their mistake nor do they have the decency to admit their error.

Volkswagen have 2 different style of fixing points and we offer mats with both versions , the customer selected the wrong option - that is not our fault... Incidentally the reason why the locators in the mats we made for his VW are the same as the one in a Porsche Cayanne is because VW make the Cayanne !!

Rubbish website - doesnt allow specific order details which leads to wrong order and rubbish customer service to rectify

I wish I had read the reviews on this site before using this company. Three of the mats fit but the fourth, the drivers mat doesnt. I have round pegs and should have notice that the mat fits oval pegs. They only offer one version of the mat and expect you to notice in amongst all the words that their is a different peg. The site asks what colour, what material and what edging but doesn't ask what shape pegs. They obviously know their carpets and expect customers to be experts too.

Its my fault for ordering the wrong thing and not theirs for having a rubbish ordering system

Apparently they are going to change the website but too late to save me a wasted £40+

I asked them to send me a replacement drivers mat but they wanted to charge another £13. Hopeless

Stay well clear. Rubbish website. Rubbish customer service

You will see the product title ( in Large Bold Print ) details the Car Mats are for vehicles with OVAL Fitting Pegs. The information is contained in the first two lines of the page and the customer admits he did not read it... But he must off read it as how would he know he was ordering car mats for a Ford Fiesta.

It is also worth pointing out that the customer order a CUSTOMISED set of car mats ( the standard option is BLACK with BLACK TRIM) the selection the customer made was Carbon Grey with a Red/Black twist trim - As detailed on the product page - Towards the bottom on the left hand side Any other colour from Black is MADE TO ORDER and excluded from DSR and returns policies if Ordered In Error. Our Terms and Conditions go further to explain this.

The customer received the mats and the Drivers Mat does not fit the locators because the customer has a vehicle with ROUND fitting pegs. The customer contacted us and admits they have ordered incorrectly.

At this point we could have turned round and quoted our Terms and Conditions to the customer about Made to Order Customised Product and non returnable / non refundable etc.. But instead we advised the customer to return the mat set and if they paid the cost of Carriage ( £6.75) for us to send the correct mat he should of ordered we would exchange for him. The customer refused this and asked for us to make and send a Drivers mats ( once again customised to his colour options and spec) this option has a cost of £13.00

We have supplied exactly what was ordered, customer admits we have provided what was ordered but thinks that our company should be out of pocket for his error... If it was our error we would not even quibble about replacing.. Unfortunately there are some customers that just can not accept they are wrong and expect other people to bear the costs for there errors.. I am sorry but we are not one of those companies. We made an offer which was a non profit offer to enable the customer to rectify there error and they will not accept it.

Still waiting correct Boot Mat

Ordered car mats & a boot Mat for my 08 Zafira.
Mats arrived few days later - good quality and fit well. However the boot mat does not.
The left side is cut with a curve not flush to the line of the boot. I sent pictures via email, I have phoned and was told they sell hundreds with no other problems but cutters are cutter a replacment mat. This was 3weeks ago and yet to receive it.
I have phoned and no one answers. No one replys to emails.
I have tried the mat in my friends zafira and have the same problem.
I am now taking it further to trading standards.
It could of been dealt with so easily - Very possibly the wrong mat was just picked and sent out.
But with no customer service - All very disapointing
Please avoid and shop else where!

5 Star Service and Price

I just wanted to say what a great service! I ordered my mats at the weekend, so I'm guessing the order would not have been processed until Monday, and they arrived safely at my work address yesterday (Wednesday). The look great, fit perfectly, and are certainly excellent value for money with the boot mat included (much cheaper than Halfords!).
I'll definitely be recommending everyone

MrCarmats really poor service

Ordered a a boot mat on 10th November 2011. Still waiting for delivery on 23rd December 2011 despite 10 (ten) phone calls to the company. A different story every time and not one promise kept. I am starting to wonder seriously if this is a scam.

Update, it is now 16 January but still no boot mat. Colin at Mrcarmats promised me a refund and claims that it went through at one minute past ten on 4th January. Of course it has not arrived. Telephone call count now at 15.

Avoid this company all they do is take your money.

Refund finally received at the end of January, so not a scam but seriously bad service.
