Mr Crappper's Potting Shed 

I recently ordered some topsoil. The ordering process on the website was straightforward and easy to use.

However, the delivery experience was disappointing due to poor communication. I placed the order on a Sunday and hadn’t heard anything by Wednesday, so I had to call for an update. I was told to expect a call on Friday, but no one got in touch. When I followed up again on Friday around midday, I was informed that delivery wouldn’t happen because their truck had broken down.

Later that same day, I received a call saying they might be able to deliver on Saturday if the truck was fixed, and that I’d get a confirmation call Saturday morning. Unfortunately, no call came. Assuming there was no delivery, I went out—only to receive a call at 1pm saying they had arrived at my house to deliver the topsoil.

The topsoil itself is good quality, so no complaints there. However, the lack of clear communication throughout the process made the overall experience frustrating. With better updates and coordination, this could have been a much smoother experience.

Received my online order in just three days—absolutely no complaints.

Mr Crapper’s Potting Shed is beyond excellent.
I ordered topsoil to be delivered to my niece’s allotment plot and they were so helpful although there is no simple postcode for it.

On the say of the delivery, as she could not get to the plot on time, they used a video call to ensure they were delivering to the right place and actually delivered it into her plot rather than just outside, making it far easier for her to do the work.

I will definitely use them again.

I've always order from here and last year the quality was just exceptional. This year it seems to have a lots of glass pieces in the soil which has not contaminated my garden. Not happy about it.

I was not around when the soil was delivered, but they took uttermost thought about where to drop. It was left in the best place for me as a customer and definitely not the easiest place. Thank you highly recommend. Top soil quality spot on

Very quick delivery time and good quality compost / topsoil mix.

Not had the delivery yet, it is due Wednesday however it would be good to be able to see more information.

Excellent, good quality and delivery man really helpful

Fantastic experience- easy to order online. Delivered within a couple of days. The driver was able to expertly drop our 2 bags exactly where I requested in a tight spot by our tree. Quality of the compost looks great.

I ordered a bulk bag of topsoil from this
company online just before lunch. Much
to my surprise and delight the order was
delivered the same day. Driver was very
courteous and efficient depositing the bag exactly as I wanted. Quality of the topsoil was excellent. All in all a brilliant service. Will definitely use again.

Good communication, even when lorry broke down.

The lorry broke down on its way to us. We got a call to let us know and once it was fixed the driver worked late to get the order delivered. Great service. We’re a returning customer and every time we’ve been really impressed with the quality of the goods and the service
