Was so pleased with this cup and the prompt delivery … when my husband retired his work colleagues bought him the same and he accidentally broke it after 3 years of constant use … I saw the name of the maker and website on the base so I secretly purchased a replacement and when he opened the gift he was absolutely made up …. The customer service of this company is second to none. When I broke my two eight year old 400ml (very important size for 'peak tea' in the morning) Archers Addicts mugs within a couple of months of each other they firstly checked in all corners to see if there were any still knocking around. When there weren't and I commented that they needed some more 400ml mugs as I wasn't keen on the patterns available they enquired into which one I would ideally like and I was hugely surprised to receive a 400ml mug a couple of days later made up in that pattern. They refused all payment but suggested a donation to a charity of my choice, which I did. Absolutely first class !!

I broke a beautiful Mackintosh mug I had bought with my mum years ago. Sadly my mum passed away a few months ago so I was very upset to have lost this memento. I contacted McLaggan when I couldn't find it for purchase anywhere, and they dug out the design and made a new one for me. This was a wonderful act of kindness in a horrible year. I now buy their mugs for everyone! A super company, and great quality products

I bought my first McLaggan Smith mug over 15 years ago - I can't even remember where it came from. But when I wanted to replace it, I went direct to the website. I have made several purchases over the years but always as an anonymous online purchaser with little or no interaction at a human level. And that has been absolutely fine. Until this week when I wrote to them for a replacement for a broken one, and they offered to make a bespoke, custom sized and printed one-off mug because the design I wanted was no longer in stock. I am incredibly impressed that this little firm had time to do it and were able to engage so personally. I am very, very happy with my lovely new mug and I WILL NOT break this one!! Recommended without hesitation. The new one even came with a little coffee bag and biscuit which made it even more special. This company really know how to 'super-please'!
