The two men who came to our house where excellent James and Alan spent time explaining everything looking forward to going into shops with my husband instead of sitting in the van on my own watching people walking 🚶‍♀️ in the shops

Great Service all round

From beginning to end the service has been exemplary. I have found dealing with MuickSandy a thoroughly pleasurable experience the whole way through. From the staff on the telephone, the sales representative and the guys who delivered my recliner, I couldn’t fault them. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Misleading brochure and prices quoted



Having received a brochure offering half price plus £500 trade in on our existing scooter, we arranged a home visit. However, the prices spoken about on the telephone bore no resemblance to the prices quoted by the sales rep, nor the sales offer in the brochure, in fact they were over double, sometimes triple what we were quoted on the phone.
Additionally, we were misled about how inconvenenient our original appointment with the rep was when they chose to rearrange it due to his "travelling time" only to discover when he arrived he lived less than 15 minutes away.
We are giving two stars as opposed to one, because the rep was polite and understood where we were coming from.

Re Sarah's reply, not only was the phone call misleading, the brochure we were sent is also misleading, offering half price, and even the sales rep couldn't find where it stated that this only applied to a second purchase!
Guess that once again the customer has to concede even though the errors lie with the company.

I have added to this review as the company sent me a very kind apology gift. They had no need to, but it was much appreciated .

I'm very sorry to hear that you were provided with several different quotes that did not appear to align. I completely understand how confusing and frustrating this experience must have been.

Thank you for providing your details. Having reviewed your account further, I can see that the pricing was explained incorrectly during your initial call. The promotion in question is a 'buy one, get one half price' offer, rather than a 50% discount on the scooter itself.

We recognise that the information provided was unclear and could understandably be perceived as misleading. Please accept our sincere apologies for this experience. We will be addressing this internally to ensure all team members communicate the promotion accurately and consistently going forward.

Riser recliner

From beginning to end couldn't fault the service. Rep was very helpful, the chair was delivered in only 4 weeks and by friendly staff who checked everything was working before leaving. After 2 days the swelling in my foot has gone down after having my foot raised to the correct height

Great experience above and beyond

The initial visit was very easy and all my questions were answered. I ordered my new Chair and everything went very smoothly. I was phoned after 3 weeks to give me an update. Then I was emailed and phoned to say it was ready and to arrange delivery less than a week later. I was called on the day to confirm delivery and to give me a 1 hr time slot. They arrived dead on time. The two guys who delivered my chair were amazing Jack and Aaron. They removed my old chair very quickly and without fuss. Jack explained everything to me and what they were going to do. Then they both brought it in and set it up. Aaron explained about the back up battery and Jack explained all about the chair. Then they set it up for me. Made sure i was comfortable and it was the correct size for me.Jack took pictures of the position of the chair to make sure everything was how it should be. They didn’t go until I was completely happy with everything and knew what i needed to do if I had any problems. Thank you Jack and Aaron and congratulations on a job well done. I would definitely order from Muicksandy again. Nothing was too much trouble A * * * * * .

Care and Attention

Muick Sandy representative, Colin, was very caring and took time to explain everything to us and show us three types of scooter. He was not pushy or demanding.
When the scooter was delivered the men delivering were very good and explained all moving parts and made sure we were comfortable.
I thought we had bought the cape and car protection blanket along with the insurance and guarantee, however, it seems we did not.

The service from all your staff has…

The service from all your staff has been excellent.
Gavin initially then Ryan, Paul and Darren who did the delivery and demonstration (two of them were being shown what to do) new employees to Muick sandy
They were kind, courteous and patient, informed us when they would arrive as we are both retired and needed assistance. Thank you all..Pauline and John

The safety features

The men had plenty of time to tell us all about the controls and safety aspects, how it folded down,fitted the bag on the back of the seat. Told us which fitting we needed to put a basket on the front. Very pleasent

From first contact with the rep

From first contact with the rep, the communication was excellent and we were updated every step of the way. Lee and Bruce who came to deliver the chair were friendly, and explained how to use it and didn't leave until we were completely happy with the controls and how to use them.

Shah's ReclinerChair

My recliner chair was delivered by two lovely chaps James & Isaac. So polite and with a smiling face in the pouring rain. Both of them worked hard in installing the chair. They explained me how to use the remote control and once I was happy they happily left.
They took all the packing with them and left the room clean.
