Muista is a home office furniture design brand behind the original Muista chair concept. Founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2017 by designer Aurimas Lažinskas and his cousin Gytis Staras, Muista's aim is to change the approach of long sitting at work desks, to encourage flexibility and movement and make sitting a more enjoyable experience.
Introduced for the first time at the Habitare 2018 design fair in Helsinki, Finland, Muista achieved big interest and positive feedback, both from health professionals and members of the public. Since then it was successfully showcased at various design fairs including Cologne (IMM), Paris (Maison & Objet), Vienna, Zürich, Hamburg (Blickfang), and sold the Muista ergonomic desk chair to hundreds of happy customers.

I purchased a muista chair for my office and liked it so much I have purchased a second one to use at home. The customer service is very good indeed, including notifying UK customers about import charges.
I have recommended the product to friends.
Great communication with the company. I love the chair, it looks good and it engages my body in sitting.

Product as advertised. Looks good and of high quality. Feels very pleasant to sit on in the Home-Office. You can rock. Your back stays straight. You don't slouch. Fast and transparent delivery.

Great chair (Wish the height could be customized on the tall version. It's just about an inch taller than perfect for my leg length.) But I am very happy. High quality, fast delivery, great communication.

Very well made. Looks beautiful and perfect for my homeschooled teen. Nice to have some movement as you’re sitting. It’s been shown in studies that if you move or are physical in someway while learning you retain information more. Also helps with maintaining good posture. Was very quick to receive here in Houston, TX

Beautiful rocking stool for working at home, though I'm tempted to use it all the time. Very impressed with the quality. Strong yet light. Quick delivery. Even the packaging is well designed :)

From order to fast delivery to sitting experience: TOP! The Muista Chair fulfills in every point my expectations: It's a beautiful craftwork, solidly built and well thought-out design. It can be used in two positions: horizontal to the desk while sitting in front of the computer f.e. or vertical, when the activity radius increases, that way even the leg muscles get activated. I can now sit for hours without backache, just enjoying the natural movements - or some extra movements just for fun!

I learned about the Muista chair from a posture Youtube video and bought one off Etsy recently for my home office. Previously I used an Aero chair and it was fine, but I did tend to cross my legs, slouch, and would fresquently have this soreness in my left upper leg that I presume had to do with sitting for too long in the same position.
I was a bit worried that with the Muista I would end up slouching or not comfortable. It's definitely more "work" to sit in than my old classic chair, but it has also prevented me from getting soreness in my legs (Probably from sitting so long in the same position like I did before).
Basically this chair keeps you from just slouching for hours on end without getting up or changing position. Build quality is very good, feels surprisingly solid even though it rocks.
For me I had to take "breaks" from the chair more often in the first week but now it feels like my back is stronger and I can pretty much sit in it all day, *but* it still isn't comfortable to just sit in for hours so it forces me to take breaks (Which is, as they say, a feature not a bug I think).

Lovely product well made and excellent customer service
I love this chair! I’m either in fidget mode or hyper focus…can’t stop moving or don’t move a muscle for hours! It’s perfect for both. Fulfills the need to wiggle AND keeps me moving enough not to freeze up during extended desk work. I wish I could bring it everywhere!
