Got a new surfboard from Mundo, got it with yellow tints on the tail & rails, it's clear that the board was not properly stored and the resin got yellow.
The customer experience is terrible, they refuse to take any responsibility, They say it's all fine... 700euro fine!!
They offered me 40euro voucher if i buy for another at 80 in the store!! Or return the board with me paying for shipping costs!!

Torrid!
An avalanche of non-responses, misinformation and neglect.
Today I received an email stating delivery successful. I ordered and paid on the 8th of Aug, today is the 1st of Sept. But, unfortunately it still hasn’t arrived.
Note:
1. Site states delivery in 72hrs
2. Hidden text-“This does not include surfboards” Surfboards are 5-10 working days ( so 2 weeks)
3. Subtext- From when Mundo sends it- so it could be a month before being sent, but then you are sure to get it in 5-10 working days- so a month and 2 weeks. This is what I was informed when i queried the whereabouts.
4.Further subtext, refunds will only be made in the 1st 14 days- clever- best case scenario you only receive your boards in 14 days- so essentially, surfboards are non-refundable
5. Repeatedly asked for tracking number which was never sent- I assume this is to disguise the fact that the board wasn’t in stock and had to be sent from elsewhere UK etc.
I strongly confirm the complaints made in other reviews with regard to dealing with a certain “Ignacio” - Swimming in molasses would be quicker and more productive- Zero urgency and vague and redirected responses - wasn’t sure we were talking about the same order.
I wanted to cancel the order but was told that it was not possible despite the fact there would be no-one around to reception the parcel as we had already left on a trip. Had to redirect it to another country.
Start at the beginning again.
Courier is now trying to find the delivery apparently as their site registers the delivery as cancelled.
Still hopeful mine turns up although wasn’t available for the surf trip.
Messy, frustrating, supremely disappointing…
A friend ordered from another surf shop for the same trip and received his board in 4 days…

When i received my parcel, the wetsuit i ordered was missing. I contacted mundo surf and filed a complaint, but after 3 weeks i'm still waiting for a feed-back and refund. As a result I did not have my new wetsuit for my holidays.
Very poor service. Would not recommend buying from them.

We all want to support local and independent business, but you just don’t get the service that you would receive from the online retail giants. Which is odd because, with an independent retailer, you can deal directly with an individual.
For my case, I was dealing with Ignacio.
I don’t like to complain. This is the first complaint I have ever left for anybody. I feel like it’s important for people to know in advance that you only have 14 days to return an item and receive a refund. Not the 100 days they freely advertise on their website. This detail hides in the small print.
I ordered a surfboard which took over two weeks to deliver. The day it arrived I had to travel abroad for work, therefore I did not have time to review my order. On my return, I cancelled the order within 14 days of receiving it.
Here’s the problem though, it’s impossible to find a courier that will deliver a 2.5m parcel. I contacted Ignacio to tell him I was struggling. And I asked whether he could arrange the collection with the same company they were using and I would pay for it. He declined and then forwarded me the small print to highlight I was no longer due a refund.
There needs to be some common sense with customer service. Each case should be considered on individual merit. And this is not what you will receive from Mundo-Surf.
So now I’m left trying to sell a board on eBay to scrape whatever money I can get together, since I have no use for a voucher.
If you feel you might return an item, then remember you only have 14 days.
* Laura, I booked a courier via Sendiroo. And they emailed me to cancel it after by saying the item was too large. So it would have been impossible to get it back to you within 14 days. So my problem is that you do not have flexible or common sense rules regarding the 14 day return. I don't want an exchange or a voucher. thank you.

Good website with good advice. Very speedy and reliable delivery service. Ordered on Monday, got the delivery on Thursday and tried out the new board during the weekend! Could not ask better. I have already recommended this website to my friends.

I ordered 4 bodyboard leashes sent to me here in Hawaii. I was unsure about payment and shipping but Ignacio handled everything for me! Out of 4 leashes, one accidentally was large. No big deal, it will make a great gift for a buff friend. Mahalo from across the globe here in Hana, Maui.

Made my Board took them like 3 months to make. They set it was due to covid. Which is ok. But now the shipping is already 2 weeks in and I don't have any information about it. Communication thru anything is not good.
I just hope my surf will come in a good shape and or it will even come to me....

Good website (the irony that their automated algorithm sent me an email asking me for a Trustpilot review 12 days before my products even arrived ....LoL!!). Good range of products. Easy to order. But took 19 days for delivery from Spain to France for a board at a fee of 60 Euros for the courier. Carlos at Mundo surf tried to say this was all because of two bank holidays and weekends. Yes maybe a few days extra beyond 3-4 but 19 days to deliver??? They wouldn't even offer me a % refund or a voucher or something as an apology. It's hardly what you want for your first e-commerce experience when trying out a company you have not bought from before! (no doubt they will come on here and play it down or ignore me altogether)
