Bad experience & waste of money

Saw coat online, looked good. Ordered large size & paid for via Amex. Coat arrived (late): Garment was nothing like description. Quite small - definitely not large - and no labels of any kind, and no facility for return. Emailed company with complaint and was told I could have 15% off order for a coat of a different size. No return of money. They suggested I keep the original coat and "gift it". Took this up with Amex: no joy there, presumably what Amex makes from Mundo outweighs their business with me (and doubtless others - the guy I spoke to at Amex said he had two other complaints about this company that same day). I've heard this is one of many dodgy Chinese companies masquerading as a European company. Whatever the truth, please avoid them at all costs. The one star is that something did get delivered, wrong though it was.

Do not believe item descriptions or refund policy.

I’m currently in dispute with Mundo Wear.
My wife bought a top described as:
‘Bella Pull Woman - Soft Knit, Modern Cut & Optimal Comfort’ £45.00’ (28/01/2026)

The item my wife received was a polyester top with a woollen print Not a knitted garment.

I complained on behalf of my wife stating the item did not fit the description published and wanted to return the item with a full refund to her card.
I requested the return address prepared to pay the postage as per their returns policy.
Since then I have been offered 15%,45%,65%,70%,100% store credit and lastly 10% refund- 03/03/26
I have refused all the offers and insisted on a full refund. The returns address has still not been supplied.
After the last refusal I was informed that my issue had been forwarded to the ‘relevant team’ -08/03/26
After not hear back after 3 weeks I contacted them, they replied the issue had already been forwarded to the relevant department and I should be patient. -29/03/26
I emailed back giving them another week to refund the money otherwise I would be contacting ‘Rip Off Britain’ which I did 02/04/26. I’ve heard nothing back from them 27/04/26

The item I ordered took weeks to arrive…

The item I ordered took weeks to arrive and what should have been a women's trench coat was no more than a shopkeepers dust coat. The return process is a nightmare. Endless messages from female bots offering ever increasing discounts . Still ongoing!

I ordered two pairs of cargo pants…

I ordered two pairs of cargo pants since they were well advertised in the UK and looked pretty good. They were a reasonable price for branded gear, like £60 each showing a discounts from more. They turned up after european post (fine, I had ordered from France), but they were unbranded made in china. I kept a pair and returned a pair (again subject to european postal service (£11 to return). the pair I kept I like, but there are some weird stitching defects. In all I don't think they are good value for money, I guess for the quality and lack of brand I'd expect to pay £30-40 max.
Customer services took a long time to respond to my first request for a return. They asked me if I would take a token discount rather than returning the pair I didn't like the colour of.
I wont buy from this firm again.

Avoid….

I purchased a two piece suit on the 14th Feb and received an email notifying me of a delay notice in delivery. After emailing them for an update a week after the notice. No email received back with an update. Tracking looks like it’s from china and no information other than order placed . I will be contacting my bank for investigation.

See below -
In our previous email we've informed you about our Delay Notice. Under normal circumstance we deliver your product within 2-4 business days, because we ship directly from our manufacturer.

But due to ongoing changes at our main supplier, including a warehouse relocation, processing and delivery may take a little longer than usual. Your order is confirmed and securely in our system.

There’s nothing you need to do — we’ll keep you updated automatically as things progress.

Thank you for your patience and

Very poor customer service

I purchased a red gilet in a large size, described online as being 'down filled'
When it arrived, it was too small, and was not down filled.
My first e-mail was met with profuse apologies and would i like 10% off of my next order.
With 'no thanks' i asked for a return form. The next response from Mundo was more apologies and an offer of 30% off, to be credited to my account for my next purchase. I sent a polite refusal and again i requested a return form.
This was sent on 19/02/26 After two e-mails i have received no response.
I believe the Consumers Protection Policy does'nt apply to this company, as they're based outside of the U.K.🤔
