We've done a fair number of murder mysteries over the years and Joy's weekends are the Rolls Royce level of them, difficult and detailed and intricate, if you want the best then go, you will not be disappointed, the only downside is that all other events will pale in comparison!

Absolutely loved this!

Great value for money. Top quality evidence and brilliant layout means it’s easy to log in at your pace and review the evidence.

Would highly recommend this as gift or treat for yourself!

Joy Swift's Murder Mystery Investigations Cold Case 1 was my first experience of playing an online murder mystery game and it did not disappoint. I had attended one of Joy's Murder Mystery Weekends (which was thrilling) and decided to buy one of these and gift them to friends. We met up online over several weeks to play together. The game looks amazing, the range of evidence that you can explore is vast and varied and the plot was rich, full of twists, and satisfying. Hours of play so great value for money, Wonderful stuff.

A super way to spend time with friends!

We bought Cold Case 1 for our friends a while back, and over the next 12 or so weeks we reviewed a chapter (evidence, victim and suspect details) each week.

Whilst our sleuthing might have needed a little less prosecco and a bit more detective work, we had the best time trying to work out who the murderer was, and why.

The evidence was convincing, the videos were brilliant and the value for money was superb.

A brilliant way to gift your friends or family some sleuthing fun.

These things are so well written - with clues given subtly enough that you feel very smart spotting them before the rest of your family do. They also include a boat load of humour and characters that I get excited to hear from with each new clip.

There's a good few hours of entertainment in each of these mysteries.

Would highly recommend. I’ve loved completing both cases and my only complaint is that I wish there were more 😂
They are so entertaining and well produced. Anyone who fancies being a sleuth will have hours of fun. The chapters are so convenient, enabling the player to put down and pick up when it suits, plus being online they can be played wherever you like.
I’ve not found anything to match the detail or excitement of these!

Tricky plot to solve. Standard of evidence provided is first class. Arranged in chapters so you can dip in and out, but once you’ve started it’s gripping! Always a twisty challenge from Joy. Hope there’s another one soon.

I absolutely loved the Murder Mystery Investigations plots. They kept me busy, entertained and interested, and were brilliantly written and well presented. Joy is a genius!

Having done live murder mysteries with the company before, we were keen to try out these cold cases!
Although conveniently all online, we actually downloaded and printed off all of the clues (yes, all of them, there are so many which is amazing for content) and set up[ our own incident room and revealed the clues as we watched the videos over the course of a weekend as a family.

So much fun was had and we can't wait for a new plot to be released!

I've been going on Joy's murder mystery weekend for over 15 years with my mum and sister. As soon as we finish one we're booking and planning the next! Nothing compares to this company and whilst waiting for our next weekend away, it's fantastic to practice and sleuth away to the online games.

I honestly can't recommend this enough. Once you get involved, you'll never stop! Totally addictive!

Stumbled across this online investigation as I was actually looking to book a murder mystery weekend/night. It looked great, but as I was new to online games/investigations ( and as I wasnt looking for this I was unsure). However I chose to play the first chapter for free and I was pleased I did. It took a minute to get my head around everything but then it all fell into place and once i got going I just couldn't stop. I felt myself getting quite competitive with myself! I loved it so much I went on to purchase the 2nd investigation. I have also booked to attend one of Joys weekends now because if the online game is this good I can't wait to go to a real life investigation also. Honestly, it was such a great purchase and you don't need to be Poirot to enjoy playing or solving it - Which I did!!

I have completed both the investigations from this company and they were both brilliant. Perfect for cold windy days as there is so much to work on. Heartily recommend to anyone who likes solving puzzles or watching Whodunnits or both!

These are the best murder experiences I have ever been on. The stories are well thought out and difficult enough to keep you interested all weekend. The clues are so well done and every detail is carefully thought about. The actors are in character all weekend. I would definitely recommend them.

Joy manages to squeeze so much fun in to these investigations! There is truly nothing like it. The actors are fab, the clues are clever and the plots are truly devious. If you are looking for something to entertain yourself at home with - this is the way to do it. Perfect for a date night or games night with friends. You won’t regret it!

Joy's murder mysteries are incredible - a complete pleasure from start to finish. They are intricate and never a pushover, with plenty of red herrings...but so much fun. If you've ever enjoyed reading a whodunnit or watching a detective series, you'll be in seventh heaven with Joy's brand of deliciously devilish entertainment!

I have been going to a joy swift murder weekends for at least 20 years. My whole family go to the weekends now my children have grown up going to them. They are fantastic the plots the entertainments that joy provides over the weekend is outstanding the hotels we have been to are first class hotels and we have been all over the country participating. I can’t recommend these murder weekends enough. If you are a sleuth and try to solve nurses when you are watcihing tv programmes go to a weekend with joy

This is a great way to spend a number of hours with family/friends, trying to figure out the devious plot. Lots of characters, videos to watch and clues to fathom out. Great fun and fabulous value for money!

I've done many of Joy Swift's Murder Weekends and the online versions were just as tricky, devious and great fun to do. I did one during lockdown and one when I was away with friends - and enjoyed them just as much as the actual murder weekends - but without all the food and laughter! Highly recommend them and really fantastic value for money.
