10/10 entertainment for our wedding. DJ Rugrat needs no introduction - he was brilliant and kept the floor full all evening. The Bando were amazing. They played throughout dinner and really got the crowd going into the evening. They were interacting with our guests who loved every moment and we got so many compliments after the event!

Thank you to Ash, Sachin and Dj Punit for bringing the VIBES to our wedding at Baddow Park on 8th November. You guys got the party started (and kept it going!) and perfectly helped to bring our vision of a fusion wedding together. A very special mention too...due to a last minute change of plan with the original DJ we booked not being able to perform due to a family bereavement...these guys were exceptional (!) at working up a back up plan and making it all happen seamlessly, and being so supportive during what could have been a stressful situation to deal with a few days before the wedding. Thank you guys!!

We had the absolute pleasure of having DJ Deven and Mitul at our destination wedding in Barcelona, and they completely blew us (and all our guests) away. Having seen Deven DJ at a friend’s wedding, we already knew he was excellent—but this time he exceeded every expectation.
From start to finish, their professionalism and coordination were flawless. They seamlessly managed everything—from dances and timing with the priest, to transitions with the dhol player and lunch room shifts. Given ours was a fusion wedding (Indian and American), they struck the perfect balance, keeping everyone on the dance floor and even converting many of our American guests into Bollywood fans. Several guests even said, “We need to move on from Afrobeats and do a Bollywood night in New York!”
Their mixes were incredible, their energy unmatched, and their vibe so warm and personal that it felt like having family behind the decks. Their outfits, style, and presence only elevated the whole experience.
If you’re looking for DJs who bring world-class talent, versatility, and genuine passion to your event, look no further. These two are going places—and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Used Musical Movements for a wedding at Kew Gardens, they were professional from start to finish. Nainesh was super helpful with providing the context, reasoning and advice on not just sound and DJ aspects, but also other areas including production, catering and overall organisation. Always felt in great hands, and closer to the time we were introduced to our flute player Harri, and DJ Deven.

Harri helped us create the right ambience for our civil ceremony, and Deven brought the hype and party vibes for our reception. Both were great during a private consultation before the event, as we had a mixed crowd with different tastes.

On the day, there were no issues, Deven was reactive to the crowd and innovated to keep the energy and hype high. It felt like a club experience at the wedding! 10/10, would recommend.

We booked DJ Deven for a mehdni & sangeet night. Prior to the event my family and I had some specific requirements of the type of music mix we wanted on the evening. Deven could not be more accommodating and understood exactly what we wanted. On the evening he delivered a fantastic performance and my family and I could not have been happier with his services. He is highly personable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. All our guests could not compliment him enough, and I would highly recommend him. We will definitely be using him for his services in future.

Deven was our DJ for our wedding reception in October 2023 and we couldn't have picked a better person to play at our wedding. We received so many compliments from our guests around Deven being able to read the room and play accordingly. The dancefloor was filled and Deven helped us to create a great atomosphere. Not only was Deven a great DJ, nothing was too big of a task for him - he genuinely cares and wants to help you and he also went above and beyond to help us with other aspects of our wedding. We did not have a good experience with this particular dj although we had met prior to discuss our song choices. Despite that there was a mish mash of songs including the macarena and friends theme tune which is not a reflection of the couple and embarrassing. I told them to play Bollywood and had to remind them at the end of the final songs to play even though these had already been emailed. I then heard from my friends that the dj wasn’t happy with his performance and blamed it on the fact that guests were making lots of requests. This shouldn’t distract from the playlist given by the bride and isn’t not an excuse for playing random songs. To this day I feel my reception night music could have been better with banger after banger. It makes me sad that I will never get this night back and spent so much money ! Advice would be to tell the dj during the event if you aren’t happy which I wish I’d done but I was too busy hosting.

We booked DJ Rugrat for our unique rustic wedding at home covering two nights in a row last year in Bristol for 250 guests. I can't express how absolutely amazing DJ Rugrat was and everyone loved his music and how he delivered. We booked him well in advance after seeing him play at a friend's reception. Very accommodating, lovely to talk to, well organised and responds to queries quickly. Our guests had a great time all-round till 3am. Really listens to you and understands what the audience wants, bringing out a mix of all-time favourites for the older Kenyan crews and newer modern mixes for the younger crowds. Blends different genres of music extremely well including mixing in our last-minute dhol players.

Musical Movements is an outstanding DJ company and we would 100% recommend booking them in future and recommend them to everyone. All our family and friends have asked about Musical Movements after our wedding and it was definately the right decision.

Where do we even begin, honestly thank you so much for being our DJ at our reception Shrai. You were PHENOMENAL!! The compliments to your services were endless!! Every single person from all generations thoroughly enjoyed the music. People have not stopped raving about it and they've said that they can't go to another rave unless you're the DJ 😂

No but honestly, you're super talented! We still can't get over how quickly it all went....when you announced the last song we couldn't believe it. It was honestly such a sick night and one that we'll forever remember. I mean even the dancefloor moved which says it all 😂

I the 'Groom' tore a muscle tissue in my neck from the dancing on the reception 🤣 either it was that litt or I’m a terrible dancer 😂 you know when your guests are hesitant to leave the dancefloor to get a drink, that the DJ was that good! Because no one says no to free alcohol!!!

Nainesh has also been incredible since the very beginning – he made the entire process very easy and seamless, advising us along the way and giving great input to help us make our event special.

Wow, just wow. Words can’t describe the day and night Mitul and Deven put on for our wedding day. From mash ups in the morning along with a perfectly timed drop of heartless crew, to keeping nearly 500 people on the dance floor for nearly 4 hours!!! these guys smashed it. All of our guests, old and young loved the music, the amount of complaints about sore legs the next day is just a testament to the great work. At a wedding, music is vital, it can make or break an event, and these guys went above and beyond. Whenever we needed help with organising the team we’re there for us. Even when we had silly requests they turned them into unique moments which just worked so well. Thank you guys so much. Can’t wait to attend another event with you guys behind the decks.

5 star rating for lovely Deven - he was the absolute best. Deven was very helpful before our wedding. On the day, he was amazing from the morning right through to the evening. We struggled somewhat with the music choices for the morning ceremony so we relied heavily on Deven who chose the perfect tracks for each special moment. The reception, well all we can say is WOW!!! Deven played the perfect music for the crowd and we are still getting positive feedback for Deven a month on. The insta shout out from Donae'o was the icing on the cake. Thank you very much Deven, we definitely got the best DJ from musical movements for our event and we highly recommend Deven. :-)

Deven was the DJ at our Western wedding and our Indian reception. He was great to work with - always positive and really friendly. He made the time to listen to what we wanted, and built on our ideas with his own inputs. He did a great bespoke mix of "We Found Love" for us, and was responsive to our feedback to create a unique mix that perfectly fit the tempo and the style that we wanted.

The Indian reception was amazing! Deven worked seamlessly with Beats Evolution and really brought the party to life - all of our guests loved it.
Deven is great at reading the room - he adapted the music to enhance the mood across a broad range of styles (Bollywood, modern pop, oldies, 90s dance, garage...). He is great on the mic and acted as a compere to keep things going on the night.

Deven was the DJ we wanted for our wedding and we were fortunate enough to get him. A true professional, humble and super talented DJ. He was kind enough to arrange a site visit with me to provide set-up recommendations as well as making sure we were happy with everything and answered all questions and requests we had.
Did he deliver?? He did more than that!!! Played all the tracks we requested as well as timing them perfectly along with the sequence of events (even when they changed throughout the night).
So many people commented on the music and the setup as a whole (lighting etc) and we can’t thank Deven and the team enough for their efforts and making our reception the best we could!

Deven well and truly surpassed our expectations on our wedding day! From the Hindu Ceremony in the morning to the Civil Ceremony followed by the reception, Deven’s professionalism and can do attitude really stood out. Our guests had never had a wedding DJ like him.. the music was spot on. Pre wedding, Deven communicated with us making sure that everything was in place and discussed before the big day. His experience of weddings brought us great comfort and helped us with the running order of the day. DJ Deven Musiq was phenomenal for our Hindu wedding music and Latin/Indian fusion reception and I couldn't recommend him enough. Not only is Deven and stand up bloke, personable and humble, he has a keen ear (I say this as a musician myself) and great attention to detail. He has a great understanding of music with a dexterity/adaptability that provides for a seamless experience. For our Hindu ceremony, I provided a few Indian classical tracks, which Deven melded in with other tracks with perfect timing and volume such that the music perfectly complimented the ceremony without being intrusive or distracting. We also gave Deven a lot of freedom to use his experience to play the "right stuff" at the right time, which he did better than if we were to try and micro-manage. For the reception, Deven was given a challenging task of a mixed latin and Indian theme (my wife is Ecuadorian) whilst keeping any reggaeton as non-offensive as possible (an impossible task really). Additionally, we wanted to mix in an eclectic range of music from Bollywood and Bhangra to Hip Hop and R&B. We wanted all crowds from different backgrounds to stay on the dance floor and not have any segregation based on cultural background. Deven performed seamlessly in meeting all these challenges and somehow managed to keep us all dancing until the very end. He also conducted the crowd and ourselves as bride and groom superbly with patience, respect but also a subtle authority. Timing-wise, he was great in making everything fit despite significant delays (e.g. overunning speeches). We were also worried about the 90dB sound limiter at our venue at Hylands House, Chelmsford - this turned out to be nothing to worry about at all, and Deven delivered a great night with a good amount of volume that everyone enjoyed. We are honoured to have had such a talented DJ run our event. I should also mention that DJ Rugrat was our initial contact who was courteous, likeable, adaptable and understanding of our needs.
