Our daughter Amal did grade 5 theory lessons with Tracy and passed her exam with a merit in her first attempt.Tracy is truly an exceptional tutor who goes out of her way to provide extra support with constant encouragement for her students.We were given access to free webinars on Saturdays and lots of helpful material through out which helped Amal a lot.We are very thankful to Tracy for helping our daughter achieve this and would 100% recommend music lessons anywhere.

Tracy did her intense grade 5 music theory course for 2 of my daughters. 4x2 hour lessons Monday to Thursday. They really enjoyed their lessons and the practice material they had was excellent. They sat the exam on the Friday. One got full marks, the other 73/75. I would highly recommend these courses as a way of getting through grade 5 theory.

Tracy’s lessons exceeded my expectations. Stephie’s extensive experience was evident, and she provided my son with clear, structured guidance to help him prepare for his IB Music class. The teaching materials were also highly informative, well-designed and thoughtfully put together. We will definitely be continuing with the lessons.

Very, very impressed. A busy child needing to pass G5 theory to progress with instruments and a heavy schedule of activities. Tracy’s course is well structured, excellently delivered and concise. Our daughter had little prior theory experience - completed Tracy’s intensive course and took her exam with the intention of passing a few days later. We were delighted when she received a very secure distinction! Tracey is a superb, knowledgeable and dedicated Music Theory Teacher and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She can break down complex musical concepts into simply terms for students and can work at their pace. She gets to know the strengths and weaknesses of each child and is highly motivational for them. Her course materials are very comprehensive thus you don’t need to look anywhere outside the resources that she provides. She gives directed feedback focusing on gaps in knowledge so children can tailor they learning. She is highly committed and goes the extra mile for her students, marking past papers out of hours, being available for discussions with parents and accommodating requests for additional support outside of her usual teaching schedule. My Son passed with Merit and this is thanks to her.

Tracy is a highly professional, knowledgeable, and truly first-class music theory teacher. She knows how to deliver complex information in a clear and simple way that makes it easy for students to understand. My daughter achieved a distinction after just an 8-hour course with her. Tracy is also incredibly responsive to all my daughter’s questions. I would definitely recommend her.

I LOVED the experience of learning Grade 5 Theory with Tracy. She is an absolutely excellent teacher, made the content really fun, and built my confidence quickly. I learned so much and will miss being taught by her! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!
Update: I have just found out that I got a distinction (75/75). I am thrilled and owe it all to Tracy!

Jess was an excellent teacher, she managed to make the lessons really fun. Even though it was a really intense few days of leaning, the children had a great time and both passed Grade 5 theory. Amazingly, although it was an intense course, they still remember a lot, even months later, and use their knowledge all the time for their practical lessons.

Tracy is quite simply a brilliant teacher of music theory. My 11 yr old daughter had never studied music theory before and attended a 4 day course for 2 hours a day (plus homework). She then took a few past papers and took the exam 2 weeks after the course finished and passed with a high Merit. Tracy was extremely supportive and responsive throughout this time. She marked all of my daughter’s homework and past papers promptly and with detailed feedback. She then made herself available through complimentary weekly revision sessions. I cannot fault Tracy’s music theory course. Thank you Tracy!!

My daughter has just sat the grade 5 theory exam and we could not be more grateful to Tracy for her help.
She had weekly lessons with Tracy which were followed up with homework and further suggestions/ resources all of which were very clearly laid out. There was also an optional weekly practice workshop which she was invited to.
My daughter did not find it easy to learn via computer during lockdown so I was nervous about online tutorials. However, within a few minutes of meeting Tracy I could see her relax and knew it was the right thing for her. Tracey has a lovely way of teaching and immediately tuned in to my daughter. She’s hugely encouraging and nurturing, but I was also very impressed to see how she managed to keep progressing through the material at the right pace for my daughter, whilst providing opportunities to revise or go back on any areas that were causing concern.
There is a very clear progression line so you can see where you’re at all the time. Tracy is very much on top of progress and knows just the right time to attempt the exam.
Tracy also had lots of hints and tips for the exam and offered tonnes of help and encouragement right up to the last moment.
The whole process is very reassuring and once you start, you can feel the end goal is in sight. Up to that point, music theory was largely an unknown quantity!
As I said above, we could not be more pleased and appreciative and highly recommend Tracy and Music Lessons Anywhere.

I definitely recommend Music Lessons Anywhere! After taking their Intensive ABRSM Grade 5 theory online course, I passed the exam first time with a distinction, having not taken any music theory exams before! The teacher was friendly and very knowledgable.

I will preface by saying a massive thank you to Tracy for all her help and support that enabled my 10 year old daughter to achieve a distinction in her Grade 5 ABRSM Theory Exam! What was remarkable to me as a parent about her result is that my daughter had never done Grade 1-4 Theory prior, but since she plays the piano and a string instrument she needed to pass the Grade 5 Theory exam to continue on playing any instrument above Grade 5. She was frustrated and in tears as her previous three teachers we attempted did not know how to teach ABRSM Grade 5 Theory properly! We googled out of desperation and found Music Lessons Anywhere, we contacted and Tracy got back to us very timely and gave my daughter a taster course, she was AMAZING and ENGAGING and made the material FUN! We immediately signed up for the 8 hour course. My daughter felt very confident after the 8 hour course and at the beginning of October Tracy gave her a one hour a week slot where she taught her all the concepts and literally how to how to pass the Grade 5 Theory exam including small amounts of homework a week. When Tracy had covered all exam material in a fun and super engaging way and my daughter also felt confident that she knew the material well, Tracy decided it was time to review past exam papers, after about three weeks of review my daughter was confidently ready and prepared for the exam. Between the start of October and mid February once a week hour lessons my daughter who had no Theory experience passed her ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam with a distinction! She could not have done it without the expert and thorough teaching of Tracy! Tracy is a very special lady, very caring for her students, fun, engaging and intuitive to know where they need help and is always patient until they grasp the concept and feel confident. When my daughter’s lesson came to an end it was massive tears as she enjoyed her weekly hour with Tracy so much. Tracy thanks for all that you did for my daughter, we will never forget you! For anyone that is looking to do a Theory course or sign their kids for ABRSM Theory lessons, look no further Tracy is a master teacher and will get you there with flying colors!

I have been having violin lessons with Kelsey for 5 years and have learnt much from this very experienced teacher. The online lessons work really well and have fitted well into my busy schedule.
