Used this company for our wedding on 25th Feb 2024. They were brilliant the whole way through - learnt 2 extra songs for us at short notice, the musicians were fantastic and very pleasant people as well.

I found Music Students for Hire online when I was searching for a pianist to play at my son's wedding ceremony. Dealing with Ben was very straightforward and he was very responsive to any email queries. He gave me lots of advice about suitable music etc and explained clearly how it would all work and the costs, which were very reasonable. Ben recommended Gemma Watkins and she was wonderful. She was at the venue playing by the time I arrived and continued to play beautifully throughout the ceremony. She was able to play a selection of romantic piano music as well as sourcing the particular songs that they wanted. Having her there made the occasion very special.

We wanted to book a cellist to play at our wedding. Ben was fantastic at communicating with us before the wedding and making changes when we requested. Alison (the cellist) played beautiful music during our ceremony - several guests came up to us later in the day to complement the music during the ceremony and it brought a few to tears before we even entered! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience with Music Students for hire, our original harpist unfortunately could not make it, the second was double booked and finally we got a 3rd, yet Ben at music students for hire kept us informed at every step and ensured we had an excellent harpist for our special day. Our harpist Valeria was available at short notice and was able to accommodate our song choices, on the day her music was absolutely beautiful.

We cannot recommend MSH enough for all their efforts in supporting our wedding day. We know our requests were not a simple, but the team was so accommodating! We requested for a pianist to support our wedding ceremony by accompanying a choir made up of our friends, playing for the hymns and general background music. Sam (the pianist) was excellent, he is beyond talented and was so adaptable on the day. The musicans within the choir were very impressed! They also complimented his calmness which was very much needed on the wedding morning!

We hired a violinist to play for our wedding. It was all organised so easily, we had plenty of information and time to chat before and it made our day so special. Thank you so much to Ben who organised and Beth who played!

The musicians (Jazz Trio) we had from 'Music Students for Hire' for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary were absolutely brilliant. Very professional and very talented. It made our event so memorable. Booking the event was straightforward and Ben was helpful in every step of the booking and the preparation.

I hired a string Quartet to surprise my fiancé. They were amazing. The atmosphere was incredible. Very professional and played a good mix.
