I had a very quick turn around project which was a little left of field and wasn't sure which way to turn. Luckily having approached a number of companies who were unable to help or simply too busy I came across Matthew's site. I am so glad I did. Not only did he turn this project around for quickly, and at a reasonable cost, his professionalism was incredible. It was luck I found him, but he is now most certainly on our listed of trusted companies and will be using him again in the future.

Excellent response time to initial enquiry and gave sound advice regarding a structural issue. Called back with more information as requested quickly.

After being told by building control that I required a steel for this job I am working on I contact 5 Structural Engineering companies and Matthew was the first to call me back and came out the same day to measure up. He then produced the calculations and got them back to me that evening. My Steel is now on its way and took only 2 days to sort from start to finish, if I could give a 6 STAR rating I would. I have saved all Matthews information and will be using him and only him from now on.

After Building Control conducted a pre-commencement inspection 8 months ago for a relatively small project, I was faced with a somewhat surprising request from a new Building Control Inspector, late on the second day contractors started work. I needed to have a Structural Engineer provide calculations on roof timbers.

The Carpenter suggested that I call Matthew Ward. He confirmed that this Structural Report should have been prepared months ago but immediately recognised the difficult situation I was in. He arrived on site within a couple of hours. Sheer relief!

He took the brief, measured up and immediately started work. His report was submitted 36 hours later, direct to Building Control. Understandably, the Building Control Inspector asked additional questions but Matthew dealt with these immediately and in a most professional way.

Not only was my job dealt with speed and total professionalism, I can honestly say my 5 star rating is ‘A Touch Better Than Excellent’ hence the review title.

Building Control's independent structural engineer validated Matthew's calculation and the job in hand is now progressing.
