I booked a reservation with My Driver…

I booked a reservation with My Driver and received a prompt reservation confirmation in my email. The service was to take us from the Long Beach Pier to LAX Airport. Upon our arrival, and also pressed for time to get to the airport, I called the number on the reservation to confirm the driver would be there. I was told my reservation had been cancelled because he only worked in Salt Lake City. I asked why I wasn't notified and he rudely said "Why should I notify you? I only work in Salt Lake City!" Yet, my reservation clearly stated the pickup that day was at the Long Beach Terminal and the destination was LAX. I had to quickly look for other transportation to make my flight. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN

We have used this service twice and have experienced truly appalling service both times. We have a small child and require a car seat and there is a section on the booking form for you to request one. The first driver brought an inappropriate seat for a much older child, which was unsafe for our 3 year old, the second time the driver did not provide a car seat at all and admitted to not having read the notes. This was THE ONLY REASON we booked with this company, as regular minicabs will not provide a car seat. Drivers are also incredibly rude, surly and unprofessional. Support at helpline nonexistent. Genuinely never experienced a service as poor as this

The worst, most unprofessional ever

The worst, most unprofessional company. Firstly we booked and they got the booking wrong and sent driver 3 days early! then we booked again and they promised to look after us. We called the driver number on arrival at Paris Airport to be told to go to door 16. We did that and there was no driver waiting. We called again to be told the driver was running approx 15 mins late but he would not give any expected ETA. I asked the person to call the driver and get exact timing and call me back. he did not. Eventually I called him back and he said the driver was going to be another 12 minutes putting the whole ride 20 mins late! We have cancelled the ride and have taken a taxi. Simpler, better and much cheaper. This is AWFUL!

Another Blood Sucker corporate…

Another Blood Sucker corporate promoting modern day slavery who rip their drivers off. Promising you an excellent service on the expense of drivers. They take more than 50% of what you think is going to drivers. Unfortunately there are many struggling people who are willing to work for peanuts to keep their families alive. Please do not use these crooks exploiting drivers. They pay less than what it's actually cost to drive a car per mile.

This is an unorganized company with no control over their drivers. The driver who picked us up demanded full payment for the day and we were later charged again on the credit card. the company refuses to credit for cash payment collected by their driver. They are a bunch of crooks and thieves,

Terrible

Terrible! Decided to give these guys a go instead of our usual car service. Booked a car to take us to and then pick us up from a party. App showed that an E class, registration xyz would be picking us up.... a ford galaxy arrived. Accepted the ride as we needed to get to the party. Emailed customer service to find out what was going on, and their reply was "we do no guarantee the make and model of car". Obviously they contract the rides out to minicab companies. Cancelled the return trip and booked with our usual service (imperial ride, whom I can recommend)

Driver was not at airport, charged anyway.

Driver was not at airport to pick up guests. They had to take another cab to their hotel. The next day, an email came in confirming the trip. I emailed the company to let them know the driver never came and they must have had the wrong day. I told them to cancel the trip. I also called the driver from the USA to Italy to cancel, and he understood nothing (although he spoke english). They charged full price anyway. I disputed it with them and they demanded "proof". I sent the copy of the email, text and phone call to driver. They still would only refund half. Said this wasn't enough proof.

Same experience as indicated by others

Same experience as indicated by others. The wait time is based on the SCHEDULED arrival time of the airplane and not the actual. If you are travelling internationally and need to clear customs and immigration there is absolutely no way you can make it in less than an hour. Was stranded in both Amsterdam and London and got charged for both. Terrible service!

Never again

Never again

I booked my driver first class service and had to cancel the trip as my arrival time changed. As I cancelled 5 hours in advance there was no problem and I received a confirmation for the cancellation and rebooked the card for one hour later. UPon arrival in Berlin there were two drivers waiting for me and I told them that I inly booked one car. On my way to town I called mydriver and explained the situation. I spare you all the details of this long phone call which cost a fortune as I use a uk phone. In the end the person on the phone said it might be a technical problem and they are going tomsolve it. The same day I received to invoices and complained as I did not want to pay for two cars. They insisted I had to pay as it was my mistake and I made two bookings. I sent them the confirmation of the cancellation and they said that I had booked three times and only cancelled one booking. I know that I have not made three bookings and I can not recommend their service at all.

Don't Ever Use This Car Service!!!

Do not use this car service! They abandoned my wife at Pars CDG airport because she was 15 minutes late to get to the pickup point because of a long passport line. They also cheat on waiting times, measuring them from the time the plane landed, if you don't specifically specify otherwise. Fares are above those of normal taxis but the service is well below. They kept our entire 58-euro pre-booked fare and we had to spend another 50 euros in a regular taxi to get into Paris. This car service is awful. Avoid at all costs!!!

No refunds

We booked a driver ahead of time. Unfortunately our flight had been delayed while the airlplane door was shut so we were unable to use our phones. Given the fact that I had given my flight info I would assume they would check flight status prior to our arrival as they do in the US. Not so, our driver waited for us when we were still in the air. Our account was charged and no refund given. Please be advised that if you book a time, they will be there accordingly even if the flight is delayed. They do not check flight status. You're better off just waiting in the taxi line upon arrival in Paris.

Excellent Service, very helpful driver!

We arrived in Paris having booked a car with mydriver a week before as we did not wanting to try to work out the metro on arrival from the UK. After a short wait and being hounded by the scores of taxi cab drivers ready to ambush us on departing the station, we met our driver at two thirty. The company had provided us with details of our driver's name and also rang us to let us know where he would be waiting with a placard displaying our names. Our driver Nathan was very pleasant, explaining about the sites in Paris on the drive to our hotel and the best way to get around as well as what to avoid. After feeling very apprehensive about our trip it was great to have someone so friendly to give us some hints and tips! We were dropped right outside our hotel, with our doors opened for us and luggage picked out for us. We had read mixed reviews about the service received by others but in all honesty we cannot fault the service we received and would highly recommend the company based on our experience.

Left stranded!

I used MY Driver in Nice and received a good service however when booking with the same company a few days later from Monaco back to Nice I was left stranded. I received an email 15 minutes before my pick-up to say no driver could be located even though I had books 24 hours prior. When I called the lady said I was on a flight that why I only received the email upon arrival. Funny thing is that I was not on a flight and in a wifi zone all day.

Will never use them again as I was told well it's your problem to find an alternative! Disgusting service!

Not recommended.

Excellent service, polite and punctual!

A friend recommended MyDriver to me and I have used them several times, to and from the airport and Eurostar. They have always been on time, been incredibly polite helping me with my bags and got me where I was going in a decent time.
They are also cheaper than other alternatives such as G7 and taxis which is an added bonus!
