Slow/no customer service

Product is fine, customer service is extremely slow, usually non-existent. I’ve been trying to return an item I have a verifiable purchase of, with my order number, and they keep asking for more pictures of irrelevant items and not responding when I send those pictures.

Never buy anything from Ameifu …

The first Ameifu Air Purifier I bought stopped working after a few months. It comes with a 2 year warranty. I was told on June 1, 2024 to dispose of the broken one and I would have a brand new replacement. After several calls to the manufacturer when I didn’t get the replacement, I called Amazon in August 2024. Amazon did something cuz 2 days later I had the replacement. In beginning of October I thought someone was using a machine gun in my living room. It was such a loud noise I never heard before. I finally realized it was coming from my replacement air purifier I had for less than 2 months. The plastic inside was breaking off and the fan was hitting the pieces. I called Ameifu and they offered me another replacement and $50 Amazon card. I refused. This model is junk and I don’t want a third one. I finally agreed to take a newer model as a replacement. Lo and behold, the newer model lasted a few months until the plastic started to melt where the fresh air comes out across the entire top of the purifier. I somehow ended up on a live chat with a representative. Explained it all and he offered me a 20% refund in an Amazon gift card. I told him 100%. When he realized I had emails to prove all 3 of these dangerous air purifiers, he immediately offered me a full refund in an Amazon gift card. I agreed. He stated I would have it in 3 to 5 days. I waited patiently so I could purchase a different brand. Eight days later I called Ameifu again and told them I did not receive what they promised. The representative explained that a full refund was sent to my original payment which was an expired visa debit card. They told me my bank accepted it and I needed to contact them. I was provided with a “Ameifu Refund ID #.” I immediately contacted my bank. I am not amused by this company. What they did was send a “pre-authorization notice.” No refund. Nothing!! I called Ameifu Customer Support over the next few hours. I realized they blocked my phone number. I can prove it because my nurse was here and called the number from her phone and they answered immediately. At the same time I called from my phone and I got the same message I got over the past few hours… “Your call cannot be answered.” I finally sent an email that contained the same information I am sharing in this review. I don’t have a purifier, I never got the Amazon gift card as promised, and they fabricated a story that they sent a full refund to my bank!! Then they ignore my emails and blocked my phone number so I still can’t speak to anyone at Ameifu. This is not a story, all of this happened to me and is 100% factual. I am sick and I rely on humidifiers and air purifiers for breathing purposes. If you buy anything from Ameifu after reading this, you have been warned.

Ameifu has the worst customer service

Ameifu has given me the worst experience in buying a humidifier. I have repeatedly spoken, and chatted, and emailed them about a faulty device. Every time, I get the same response, it goes something like, "We'll get back to you after we talk to our team." I have come to believe that its possible there is no team. Ameifu kept brushing me off, and never actually getting back to me with a determination about what to do about their device that stopped working. Very terrible customer service. Now they won't even answer my emails, calls, or chat attempts. Are they even still in business?

Don't Make This Mistake!

I purchased a large room humidifier last Feb. 18, 2023 from Amazon.
I used it for 2 months, cleaned it and put it away. I tried to use it last month but it would not power on. Amazon told me to contact the manufacturer as it was over the 90 day period.
I did so by phone, sent all the required info. and was told I would receive a refund to my Amazon account. I did not. Called again and was told simply that my claim was rejected.
Now, however, the phone appears to be disconnected, the chat will not work and numerous emails remain unanswered.
It appears that many other buyers said that their humidifiers failed in the same manner.
I would strongly suggest this evidence should keep you away from Ameifu products.
It is a shame that may be the result of anyone dealing with Ameifu.
