Near the end of the application process, myautoloan will prompt you with link to get your credit report. The fee is $29 and is actually a subscription to TransUnion's credit service.
Once you've paid the fee, there is another prompt by myautoloan to key in your credit report.
An exceedingly deceptive if not outright fraudulent prompt. This company should be investigated an sued.
Despite the company's response, there was no visible "Advertisement" notification. In fact, the placement and language of the prompt indicated to get click on the TransUnion button and paste in the credit score.
MyAutoLoan, please don't gas light me on this forum or anywhere else. You know you're getting a commission or some revenue from that arrangement. Now you try to gaslight me. Even worse.

The page you are referencing after you submitted your application has the word "Advertisement" across it. If you purchased the subscription to the credit service you can have it cancelled and most likely rebated by contacting customer.service@myautoloan.com. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! All the negative reviews are completely accurate! I wish I had found trust pilot before I used them because the other negative reviews are completely accurate! The form you fill out says PREAPPROVAL and SOFT CREDIT CHECK all over it! They not only performed a hard pull of my credit report, they also gave all my personal information to SEVEN different banks who all ran a hand check on my credit report also! My credit was 770 when I filled out the form for a PRE-APPROVAL SOFT CREDIT CHECK! I never gave them permission to run a hard check and I never in a million years would have authorized EIGHT DIFFERENT LENDERS TO RUN MY CREDIT! I lost 30+ points on my credit score due to this scam of a company!!! I reported this company to the BBB and encourage all the other people that had the same experience to do the same

BEWARE- HARD CREDIT CHECK
After I filled out this application, which said multiple places that only a soft credit check would be pulled, I noticed an unauthorized hard credit check on my credit report.
Turns out that this company collects your information and gives it to other dealers, financiers who can pull hard credit checks on you.
Don't give them your info unless you're ready for this!

Throughout web site we state "Submitting an Offer Form may result in soft credit and/or hard credit inquiries from the Lenders" and when a customer apply's there is a Authorization and Consent that is a check box that has to be checked by the customer to apply that states "HDF acquires a "soft" credit inquiry, Lenders and Credit Sources may acquire "soft" or "hard" credit inquiry(s);" We will review our content further to see how we can be more clear with the process. We strongly urge all consumers to read and be aware of what they are agreeing to.

myAutoLoan is fraudulent, do not use
myAutoLoan is a fraudulent company. Do not use. They provided my information to a local car dealership that does not make loans. In the application process, they tried to make it look like it was necessary to purchase a credit report in order to complete the process (it was not). One of the three so-called "offers" (none of whom was a legit bank) was actually just an invitation to do a hard pull on my credit history for a real offer. My local bank and car dealership had no problem getting me loan options (I have 800+ credit).
