Great experience with making the order

Great experience with making the order. And the tank was delivered fine after a little delay (the first driver said our road was too narrow so it took 2 days longer to deliver) - the road is not too narrow for a truck - they’re in and out all the time - even the 2nd driver said it was wide enough. Apart from that happy customer!

I was really impressed with this…

I was really impressed with this company. I ordered paint on line. It came quickly, well packaged. It was a lot cheaper than competitors prices. When I ran out, I rang them, they couldn't have been nicer. So helpful to help me arrange more that was out of stock online. I would definitely use them again. Bonus I got €10 off my first order!

Good prices.....good Service

I ordered some manhole covers but I ordered one which was too big.I contacted them and I had an email back from Crona who said just to order the correct one and that she would arrange for DPD to collect the wrong one from me and she would arrange a refund.Excellent service.Highly recommended.

Poor transparency

I ordered a Karcher K7 which unfortunately arrived damaged on Wednesday afternoon — something I understood wasn’t necessarily the retailer’s fault.
I contacted customer service they asked for photos and an email to be sent to them, I did and next morning they arranged a return; when discussed about a replacement or refund I decided in the end to go for a refund as they could not ship a replacement on time so I could receive it asap, at that time I was told clearly over the phone that my refund would be issued upon collection of the item by the courier on Friday.

The item was picked up as agreed, but the refund never came through although they confirmed again to me on Friday that they would issue the refund on that day.
I emailed them on Monday as no notification came through to my Revolut account and was told they had received the item and the refund would now be issued — but still, nothing by Tuesday morning.
After yet another call, I was told by a different person that they will check what happened and take it from there- which I explained to them needs to be rectified by 12pm the latest and that someone needs to ring me by then.
I returned the item as agreed and had done my part as a customer.

Eventually, someone else called me back and confirmed again they would issue the refund (Tuesday morning) — five days later.

In the meantime, I had to spend €600 on top of the €550 to source the item locally and make up the difference in cost, all while chasing the company for my refund - and not everyone has the luxury of spending €600 twice in a week.

What disappointed me most wasn’t the damaged product — these things can happen — but the lack of transparency, delay, and poor communication around the refund process.

Honest customers deserve better treatment, and I hope the company takes this on board.

We are disappointed that you have given us a 1-star review but we also understand that you are disappointed that you didn't get the product in 100% condition as you naturally expected. You've mentioned that you understand that the problem was caused by the courier which is also disappointing for us also as we send our products with them and pay good money to do so.

To clarify the timlines: you received your product on Wednesday 14th May, you informed us that it was damaged that night and we responded to you on Thursday 15th. Our courier picked it up on Friday and we received it back on Monday the 19th of May. We then had to inspect your returned item and process the return. We then refunded you on Tuesday 20th of May.

We have endeavoured to act as swiftly as we could at all times and we really feel we could not have done more under the circumstances.

We are of course sorry that we could not have made things go any faster but we assure you that we acted as best we could for you and we really feel we treated you very well. We are sorry that you don't seem to agree but we will always try and do better as we always need to do as a business.

Cold Lay Tarmac

I recently ordered Cold Lay Tarmac from Mybuildingsupplies. Seamless experience with them, very prompt delivery with good communication between the time I ordered and the item was delivered. The product worked very well also, i used it to tidy up old tarmac that had frayed around the edges of my driveway. Thanks to the team there. Dan, Galway.

Very prompt delivery

Ordered a pro plus leaf blower. I'm a gardener and my original one packed in. Got my order 24 hrs after I placed it. Excellent service.
Will definitely bring using this place again.
I was also extremely happy with the price.
