Overcharged for logbook service due to system glitch
I had purchased fixed priced logbook servicing. When I attended Bankstown MyCar I was told that I had to pay extra for filters as these were not included in the service although it was mentioned on the website that they were included. I questioned that but the service person was very vehement and explained that I didn’t select filters when I made the booking as they weren’t included in the system “showing red“. It sounded odd and I contacted customer care after my service who confirmed that it was a system glitch and I was overcharged $113. They refunded my money in the same week and told it was a system glitch which might have also impacted other customers.
