Great service from the team at MyCar. Had a flat tyre a few months ago. They fixed the tyre within minutes without charge. So I came back to get all 4 tyres replaced when they needed it. All booked in... See more

The team at Mycar Endeavour Hills provide amazing service. The sad thing is that they are overloaded. 25-30 cars to look after is to much. And although they love helping their customers, they let them... See more

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience – avoid at all costs
I took my 3-year-old Kia in for a general service at MyCar and it turned into a complete nightmare.
I dropped the car off on a Monday and picked it up the same day. I was told everything was fine, aside from tyres needing replacement (which I chose not to do at the time).
Since I work from home and live nearby, I didn’t drive the car for a few days. Then on Thursday, while driving home from Footscray on the Monash, my car started smoking heavily. I managed to get it home and checked the oil—there was nearly 2.5x the required amount in the engine.
I took it back first thing Friday. They said they would drain the excess oil and clean the filters. When I picked it up later that day, I was told the issue was resolved, but I might still see some smoke for the next 30–60 minutes as residual oil burned off.
Fair enough.
On my drive to Cranbourne West, there was a lot of smoke initially, but it cleared after about 10 minutes—just as they said. I thought everything was finally sorted.
Then on the way back… the car started smoking again just as badly. As I pulled into my driveway, the engine light came on. I checked the oil again—this time there wasn’t a single drop left.
Back I went Saturday morning, absolutely furious. First overfilled, then completely empty? The explanation I got from the manager was: “the PCB must have malfunctioned and dropped all the oil.”
That alone should tell you everything.
I had to hire a car (which they eventually reimbursed), and it took until the end of February to get my car back. The damage? A blown turbo that required replacement.
Even worse, the manager who handled the repairs couldn’t clearly explain what had been done. I was given an invoice with little to no diagnostic detail or transparency.
To be safe, I took the car to Kia for a full diagnostic (they were excellent, by the way). However, I then had to wait another 3 weeks for MyCar to approve and pay for additional repairs—because they hadn’t even reconnected parts of my dash and vents properly.
To top it off, while I was at Kia, I overheard another customer who had also come from the same store with a blown engine after a service

I always had a good experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I will soon move out of the area and still indent to have my car serviced in Endeavour Hills.
