I find these handy for travel, they don't last very long as the foam does perish after a while, but how long they last is stated factually in the product description, They last about 4-6 weeks and are comfortable during that period.

Not sure about the grey cushioning. The original was all silicon that ballooned when in use creating the seal. The grey cushion tends to partially block the nostrils.
