I thought my CV was pretty good, but I was having limited success getting past the recruitment and HR jockeys. These guys really understand how to structure CVs to get to the next stage. I had significantly more success with my new CV, with lots more interviews and was soon in a new job.

I would always think of myself as both objective thinking and creative yet would never be fully happy with my own attempts at my CV - too much, too wordy/not wordy enough, a bit bland, corporate, dull, or possibly too abstract, not rooted in real life achievements (hang on, what really were my achievements?)

My professional path has been traditionally designed not to need much self-enterprise, and this has made it difficult to develop skills in CV writing. However, as I diverted from the traditional career path and my skills expanded beyond my primary qualification, it became necessary to market myself to potential employers. While it was easier for lower level management positions, it became much more difficult for senior level management positions, especially if not referred by a colleague who knows your capabilities. I was a little cautious about this process and what I would get for my money but after a detailed session before I signed-up I felt confident to go ahead.

The questionnaire does take some time to complete properly but the writers can only work with what you give them.

They created something I am very happy with and ticks all the boxes I asked for.

The process of developing the information for the CV has been hugely beneficial for rationalising my skills and experiences ahead of future career discussions and the final document is better than I had hoped for. The team were very helpful and responsive throughout the process.
