I appreciated my service rep, Kranth. I found him very, very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. My beef is with how mydomain, web.com, and domain.com are managing the consolidation. Franly speakin... See more

Stay away from this registrar!

Awful, shameful, and ignorant chat support.

The worst registrar I ever had deal with among many.

Their system is deliberately flawed to lock domains by all means for additional 60 day if you change any of registrant contact details no matter you check the box to opt out. That way, I would say, they force users to not transfer out domains away from their registrar.

Also, admin details are set to registrar details where you need to change the email address to your own in order to even receive the EPP code and when you do that, wrote it above, the check box to opt out is not working.

I'll give them a hard ICANN compliant about their registrar and really hope that they will be removed from face of the Earth.

Awful

Awful! They've taken down our site because they wanted icann verification. We never recieved any notification about this.

Their support is totally unable to help apart from to say they're "Sorry we have to experience this". It's been 11 days now as we work through the verification process with them asking for some new documentation every other day when they can be bothered to respond. Zero urgency to help us resolve this, obviously don't care about their customers.

The worst domain company

The worst domain company. They transfer/sell your domain while it is in redemption period to another registrar without telling you!!! Im sure it is illegal.

If you want to keep your domain, do not trust them. Awfull company.

MyDomain are complete rip-off…

MyDomain are complete rip-off merchants. I have had all my domains with them for many years. I've been unhappy with their service but it's tricky to move a domain without disruption, so I've failed to move elsewhere even though I should have years ago. More fool me!

They add a "domain privacy" extra without you asking and charge you for it. Through the control panel I "disabled" domain privacy, but the next year they charged me again anyway. When I complained they explained that you still get charged even if it's "disabled" and to stop being charged you have to "cancel" which is not the same thing. There is no way to "cancel" through their control panel, you have to call them. And there is no info on the website about the difference between "disable" and "cancel". Seems clearly like a way to fool you into paying them more.

Then today I got an email saying one of my domains has been autorenewed. Fine, except that the fee has been increased from $30 a year to $130 without any warning or explanation. Whaaaaat?

Clearly a company who intend to use whatever shady practices they can to rinse out every buck they can from you.

USELESS

We have used MyDomain for 8 years and have spent the last year moving all our clients off there. They are slow to respond, do stupid stuff like put your domain in "redemption" for 50 days and in general are completely useless. NEVER USE THEM!
