We recently bought an Eddi to go with our existing Powerwall and it has been a welcome addition to our home solar setup. We’re saving around 5-6kWh/day with solar hot water. It’ll probably make us back our outlay purchasing it in 2-3 years. It took a while get it to work in sync with the Powerwall, but an online update from MyEnergi sorted that out. Now both work seamlessly together. Additionally, by using the Myenergi app on my phone we are able to program the Eddi to boost our hot water in the morning from our battery ensuring we have hot water all day round. It certainly provides more control over your solar hot water production than a conventional solar hot water system. Cant recommend it enough.

Definitely worth getting for anyone with solar panels - we have hot water most of the summer days without having to turn on the oil boiler. Even in winter we can get a full tank on a sunny day. Works great!
