Spam issue on company side

Spoke with a gentleman, helped me with my finance solutions . Got email from them it came up as spam , also got phone calls from them came up as spam. Why I asked and he seemed bit upset and became frustrated and pushed me into raising my voice. Firstly listen to the customer and don't start being forceful like all other debt collection agencies. It is no wonder people don't want to speak to you . I'm sure most people in a finance difficult situation would be more responsive if you changed your attitude instead of acting like jumped up police . Little bit of tact and sorting the company phone call and email out as not coming up as spam would be a start.

Unfortunately, this can happen when the phone number presented hasn’t been updated correctly on lists the service providers use to determine whether your call is spam or genuine. When this happens, the problem can be compounded with further recipients who we haven't managed to speak with, flagging missed calls as spam.

Unfortunately, emails are dependent on various guidelines set by email hosting services. We are also investigating this issue and working with our supplier to address it.

Based on your feedback about the call, we’d like to apologise. Our team prides itself on providing friendly and empathetic service. We appreciate that on this occasion, this wasn’t reflected in your experience. This is something we’d like to investigate further. This is a Scam, they send a letter that looks very real, the website looks real and the reviews at the time of writing this are positive.

Received a letter saying I owe £25.88…

Received a letter saying I owe £25.88 to EE. Rang EE and they say there is no outstanding debt, as I pay by direct debit. Tried ringing EPFS, to be fair it's Sunday Evening so no answer (although EE did!). Will try ringing in normal business hours EPFS ref: 149262921.

Very helpful and understanding

After struggling to pay my debt the bill was passed on to these people and the gentleman couldn't have been more helpful and understanding of my situation I put in an offer that I could afford and he made it quick and easy to set up a direct debit

Edit- 5 star service? Have you seen how many complaints are on here from others? No letter received and I emailed as instructed and still no response.

Update- Text only is completely unprofessional ‘We have important information for X. Please visit secure link (my-rise.com).’ Again, I have no debts. I am not giving out my personal information to something that has shocking reviews and looks suspiciously like a scam. If it is real then whatever company you’re acting on behalf of can get in touch with me.

I’m pretty convinced that this is a scam.

I’ve been receiving harassing text messages that demand I get in touch with them. I looked up this company and on the UK government website, it says it’s dissolved as of the 5th of November 2024. I don’t know how they know my first name and mobile number, if this was genuine then I’m sure I’d receive a letter, email or phone call. I have no debts so there is no reason for me to be continually harassed.

I have been receiving text messages and…phone calls yet I have never lived or used Thames water this is worrying as the messages are non stop I don’t owe anything to Thames water

I have been receiving text messages and phones saying that they were referred to me by Thames water. Yet I have never lived in the part of UK that uses Thames water. This is now worrying as they keep sending the messages and phone calls despite the fact that I tell them. Especially after I was scammed last year. I asked them to various with Thames and track down the person using that account but that is when EP finance text me more. I am so stressed
