I am extremely disappointed with GLS

I am extremely disappointed with GLS. My package was never delivered to me and was not returned to the sender, even though the tracking shows it as “delivered.” The address had a small error, but losing the package entirely and providing no proper investigation or resolution is completely unacceptable.

No signature was obtained, no inquiry was made, and my seller’s claim was rejected without proper review. GLS’s handling of this shipment shows a serious lack of accountability and poor service. I do not recommend this company

Stay away

When I saw the GLS car arrive, I left my house to meet him. By the time I reached my gateway I saw the deliveryman come out of the house opposite ours, jump into his car and drive away. I then got a notice that delivery had been unsuccessful and the parcel had been dropped off at a store, situated a 20 minute walk from my house. That is 40 minutes in total to pick it up. When contacting GLS they said it was too late to do anything about it. No apologies, no trying to make up for the mistake. Would delivering to the right house be too much to ask from this company?

The worst delivery company in Europe

If there was an option to give 0, I would have.
This company lost two of my packages. The couriers do what they want. Not to mention that they don’t give you a specific delivery time window, so you have to be at home all day.
The customer support sent me the GPS location when my package was supposedly delivered and it was both times miles away from my house. Unprofessional and useless. Stay away!

Well........Tja!

Well, I guess they just can't be bothered to deliver packages. We were home when they said we weren't. Then, they stated there was a problem with the address. Well, if you have a problem finding the addess then how can you say we weren't home? Of course they use vans that don't indicate who they are. My husband did see a van parked across the street from our house. Stated a 400 lb man got out of the van and looked around for a couple of seconds. Then, he got back in the van and drove off. THAT WAS THE COURIER!!!!! That was verified when we call GLS. Yes....that's right, I CALLED GLS, and my husband spoke to someone who could only speak in French. I got the number from Testaankoop. How these people are allowed to continue to do business in this poor manner is beyond my comprehension. The review is worth ZERO star!!!!

The worst

I am sitting at home by the window waiting for my parcel and I get an email that i am not at home and my parcel will be delivered in another adress, i cannot go anywhere as i have a newborn baby , arghhh day ruined.DO NOT USE GLS !

If I can give 0, I would give 0.
I don't know which time in a row, I am getting notification that driver was not able to deliver the package because nobody is home - WHILE I AM SITTING AT HOME WAITING FOR THE PACKAGE. I have contacted them immediately, and as usual: they will let driver know that this is not ok - for future!!! if I wanted a pick up point collection, I would not pay for a home delivery!!!!

been waiting for 3 days

been waiting for 3 days. says it's 'out for delivery'.
They keep changing the delivery address, to a parcel shop I can't even change and it's closed outside of office hours.
They lied and said I wasn't present during the first attempt while I was. (this is an office building, so a lot of people are present)

Such a horrible experience

Such a horrible experience. My parcel couldn't be delivered because the GLS parcel shop was closed for holidays. Upon asking to change to another parcel shop, I was repeatedly told to make the change myself in myGLS, but I can't, as the system tells me that no other delivery option is possible. No option to call and talk this through, and just really bad service personnel behind the screen. My parcel will go back to the sense, there is no possibility for me to get it delivered in a normal way. I wasted 1 week of discussions via e-mail for this now. I would give a negative score if that was possible.

Impossible to change my alternative delivery + poor management

My package was handed over to GLS. The default alternative delivery if I am not at home is to just let the package there... So I tried to change that in order to not deliver it at my home and instead deliver it at a parcel. But it was impossible, each time I tried to change that, an error message was displayed. Now that my package is at their depot in Belgium, I can't even change that. The status says that it is impossible.. After that I tried to reach them by phone, and at the end of every choice possible, they tell you that you have to send an email if I need help and then automatically hang up the phone. WHY BOTHER HAVING PHONE LINE FOR URGENT MATTER IN THAT CASE?????
Also you won't have any previous notice that you package will delivered tommorow or something like that. They noticed me today that I will receive my parcel today.. Their Track and trace is absolutely useless. Is it only states that I will be delivered today, they don't even gave me an average hour when it will be delivered.
Thanks to them and their horrible website and management, I am pretty sure my package will be stolen if I am not at home to get it in time. It is really a shame that we can't choose our delivery company because it is not the first time that I have issues with GLS.
