Keeps asking to verify over and over won’t let me fill in my form absolutely useless

I sent away for a code to verify my details and having now receive it I have discovered it was all a waste of time. Every time I try to verify my details on line with the code they sent me via an post mail I get a notice saying due to inactivity I have been logged out, bearing in mind as I have not been logged in I fail to see how I have been logged out, but of course we are talking about a Government agency here. I have now tried to log in 6 times and yes on each occasion I get notified I have been logged out due to inactivity and to please log back in. Im just going around in a circle and as for their help page.....don't get me started. But I have found a solution to this problem....I have just torn up the letter they sent me with the verification code and put it in the fire. As far as I'm concerned their system is not fit for purpose so don't waste your time with the B**lS**t they give you about the advantages you get when you sign up because if your like me you wont be able to sign up to start with.

It’s ridiculous how complicated they make this to log into. How are the elderly suppose to navigate their way through codes and numbers like this?? My elderly father could never use this . We are suppose to include the elderly in our society not isolate them even more .

A number of years ago I created an account ,password etc . Tried to sign in , was sent a code , entered code ,got this message..."A user with the specified credential could not be found." Tried again now same result so I Created a new email address entered all info , got sent a verification code , still does not work .
Has mygovid ever worked for anyone ???

Absolute rubbish!! Trying to renew my licence quick and easy online, but guess what won’t let me login!! I’ll be visiting the NDLS centre so!! Can this Government get anything right!!

Who are the 6% that gave mygovid 4 stars. The site/app doesn’t work at all I’ve tried 11 times to verify my login. Each time I enter the verification code it sends another to my mobile and the site makes me enter it again and again and again and again!!!!!!!!!!!! What muppet built that site!!!

How am I supposed to scan a code on my mobile with my mobile? It just doesn't make sense.

Congratulations this app wins the global award for the worst digital service. The award is based on criteria of confusion, non intuitiveness, complexity, user frustration & profoundly mesmerising technology. Well done.

The worst app I have ever tried to use. Designed by incompetent idiots. Non intuitive, full of loops and dead ends.

I made a verified account last week
And got to use it, when I checked back in again to check its progress I can't even access my Account.

Very confusing and extremely frustrating to use. I doubt if the user experience was considered when designing it. Horrendous!

An embarrassingly bad app. It just keeps going around in circles, asking me to verify an already-verified account.
Another Irish government planning and performance failure.

Shockingly bad app, useless, waste of taxpayers money. Number of tries, wasted hour, “session has expired”, with no way to actually submit anything. Called the number on the app to try and fix the issues - the rudest, unhelpful woman on the phone, after I said that the app was not working she just hung up on me. Disgusting attitude towards the people who need help. 6 May around 2pm - if anyone from that useless organisation checks reviews (doubtful) - please follow up.

Very poor automatic verification. Shockingly bad system.

it wants you to use your phone app, but then makes it impossible to scan the only verification document passport, doesnt scan the information required Ive spent the last 30mins taking photos and trying to scan via the app but its failed every time.

Mygov.ie while advertising that you can do all sorts on the app, every time you attempt to do something you seem to have to varify your account each time, they look for both you PPS number and your PPSN number then the app freezes and there the story goes on and on without getting what you wanted in the first place. It would seem its quicker to attend the driving licence office in person wait in line for however long to renew your driving licence.

After all that I receive an email telling me that it will take 10 days to verify my application for Gov.ie. Im now going to attempt to withdraw my application.

i tried to log in and i am told a code is sent to my phone, no code sent so i try again and no code sent, try again and it says too many attempts, try later, what rubbish

Text messages taking over 20 minutes to arrive but login screen has a 5 minute time limit. Renders the "service" as unusable. Alternative is a helpline which has a warning of long delays due to volume of calls. Not fit for use as it currently stands.

Terrible to use, Terrible to navigate, never works properly, constant force closes, errors and issues.
I thought it would get better with time, but how silly of me to expect that from Mygov.
Always have to contact support for help to reset, log in or anything! i have completely given up on using this but it always pushes you to it, even when just asking for a new medicare card as mine expired, trying to update the info so i can get my money back - which its been 12 months so i doubt ill get that either.

Dare you look for information or to apply for assistance
Then you get oops something went wrong
Very poor for a government website and not user friendly at all.
God help an older person trying to use this never mind younger
