I visited the clinic today with my son , I was very nervous and dr afghan was so reassuring and made me feel very comfortable, he explained Everything to me clearly, everyone was very nice from booking the appointment right up too getting the procedure done very professional and I’m happy

My baby's circumcision was done in this clinic by the doctor at 1 month and it went perfectly. To be honest I was very nervous regarding the procedure and post as he is a very young baby. However, the doctor was very friendly and understanding. Kept us all aboard about the whole process. The procedure was done fast the baby only cries in general during nappy changes but didn't cry at all with pain after the procedure when the doctor gave him back to us. Everyone is kept a further hour to make sure all is well and address any questions to put us at ease so ensure you bring your nappy bag and necessary feeding arrangements. There's many others getting the procedure done so your not alone and a nice environment created by the team with a breastfeeding room available too. I would suggest to make the process easier is to listen to the teams instructions before hand and to please make sure you bring the babys birth cert, and your ID which they tell you about. Also confirm with the the team to buy calpol for the procedure as well. The ring method seems a little daunting but you get over it. The baby had 0 pain as their young their pain receptors don't develop as fast so the earlier the better for the baby. Its now post 2 weeks since the operation and overall it went great. My baby went back to normal with no fevers or pain. The doctor stayed in contact requested daily pictures via whatsapp to track progress which made it easier for me. The team is amazing at advising about after care and the doctor is nearly always readily available to get back to you and put you at ease. My son has made a great recovery and I am very happy and would recommend this team and clinic to anyone thinking of getting circumcision done.

Excellent service

Our son's newborn circumcision went smoothly with Dr. Afghan (he's healing as we speak). Throughout the process (booking, day of, and aftercare) the communication has been strong and reassuring.

On the day of appointment, expect to be seen individually, but in shifts with the other people at your appointment time. Also, expect to remain in the office to ensure the procedure is healing as expected. Our appointment was at 10am and we were able to leave around 1pm (which ensured our son's well-being).

We anticipate the circumcision will heal well and trust Dr Afghan will support us throughout the remainder of the process.

Dr. Afghan and the staff at MyGPSurgery were all so pleasant and kind to deal with. Dr. Afghan makes sure that the baby and parents’ comfort and safety is his number 1 priority. He was very informative and explained the procedure of the circumcision surgery and aftercare very well. I would highly recommend MyGPSurgery. If you are looking to circumcise your baby then this is the place to go.

I went in for the procedure expecting my son to cry and be in pain all day. Surprisingly, it went much better than I anticipated. Dr. Afghan took the time to explain everything, which really reassured me and the other parents I met there. I'm really glad with how it all turned out.

Doctor is very good and service was immaculate but I will give suggestion to improve their appointment slots.

As my appointment slot was for 11:00 and he attended us at 12:30.

Apart from that it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

Dr afghan has a great service for circumcision . The staff was very kind and helpful. He explained the procedure very well . My son was comfortable during the procedure , he actually slept during it. I was afraid that my son will be fussy after the local anaesthetic effect goes but gratefully he was all good during my 3 hour journey back home from the clinic. At home-care was explained quite well. I highly recommend his clinic to anyone looking for circumcision service in Ireland.
