Absolutely abysmal online service

Absolutely abysmal online service. Twice
sent me a marked tie. Pretended the
second time there was nothing wrong
with it despite my providing photos three
times and then pretended there was
"something wrong with the server" so
they couldn't see my last set of email
photos. Failed to refund correct amount
of postage first time. Refused until
threatened with court action to refund
the second postage (it is the law that
postage should be refunded). Failed to
keep in proper contact adding to my in
convenience and annoyance. Sent almost
illiterate emails. I see from previous posts this behaviour is nothing new. I wish I could give a "zero" rating. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !

Diabolical Customer Service

Diabolical service. I ordered and paid for a jacket on November last year and didn't receive it. It was lost in the post. I have tried ever since to get a refund and been entirely unsuccessful despite many promises. Very disappointed and now having to involve my credit card company to retrieve MY money. I would definitely NOT recommend them

very happy with the service

I bought a Harriman jacket to these guys, I ordered the wrong size, I sent it back and I got a new one in less than a week - I honestly felt good at the way these guys handled the issue and turn the things up in few days. I will recommend them

Very misleading

Very misleading, using co.uk domain, quoting prices in GBP, then billing credit card in EUR for which foreign currency transaction fees apply, then advising goods would not be shipped for 1-2 weeks. They refunded amount charged, but after exchange rate difference and charges I am £10 worse off! Avoid, unless you want to order goods from Germany and don’t mind extra charges, delivery delays and hassle if having to return goods to Germany!

Liars and thieves

Liars and thieves. Read all the other reviews and you will see these people simply don't care. They will take your money and then ignore you. They promised me a refund for items I returned (as they sent me the wrong item) and they have given me nothing!

Great Service Deliverd on time

After phoning this company for advice on their products I placed an order. The following week I received everything in the mail and all products were correct and as expected. the following day I received a call to confirm I had received my order in good condition. I was very satisfied with the service I was given from my hunting shop and look forward to using them in the future.

Great service and a great price

My Hunting Shop delivered the goods quickly and efficiently from Germany to NZ with no issues and were quick to answer my questions over email. Price wise they can't be beaten in NZ and offer great value for money. I am looking forward to using them again in the near future!

Bad service, bad communication

I was sent the wrong item. I contacted My Hunting shop immediately and showed them my order. I asked for a return label as it was going to cost me £23.48 to return the item to Germany (I only had 14 days to return item to receive a refund). I sent several emails via the email I was given with my order and the contact page on their website.I did not receive any communication from them. I had to pay the £23.48 to return the item this company had incorrectly sent me. I will never deal with this company again.

Wrong product sent, returned but no refund received.

I ordered a product but the item delivered was a different product - it was the wrong colour. I returned the item using the DPD returns service. I had to contact Myhuntingshop many times before even receiving a reply. Myhuntingshop claim the item has not been received and that the reference I have is not recognised by DPD. I find myself out of pocket yet it is Myhuntingshop that made the mistake with my order.

Customer service, what customer service??

Worried I've now wasted £200. When purchasing from the site it said 5 working days for delivery Then get an email 2 days later saying 1-2 weeks. I cannot wait. There phoneline alwasy rings through and does not get answered, not the UK, US or German numbers get answered.

Wellington Boots order

On the 7/12/15 I ordered size 8 Seeland Wellington boots. Oder and Invoice for £54:13 confirmed by My Hunting Shop.
On the 22/12/15 I followed up my order and had an e mail saying MHS had a systems failure and the boots would be dispatched. I asked for express delivery.
On the 23/12/15, I received a credit memo for £46.60.
On the 30/12/15, I e mailed asking when the boots will arrive and what does the credit memo mean? No answer.
On the 4/1/16, I tried ringing MHS telephone number but it was not answered.
On the 5/1/16, I tried ringing MHS telephone number but it was not answered.
I have heard nothing more from MHS. No boots, no communication, a credit memo that is less than was taken from my credit card.

A great, if not a standard customer experience.

So far I’ve purchased 2x pairs of shoes from Myhuntingshop. I was buying shoes I couldn’t try here in Australia for size, on both occasions I was out by a half-size. In both cases ‘Wouter’—the chap who I made contact with there—was very patient and very helpful, I have received replacement shoes in the right size, all’s well.

I too (having read a previous review) in one instance experienced the stock being unavailable post-purchase. This was frustrating, but again they dealt with the issue with urgency and regular correspondence.

I feel it’s important to separate the experience you’ll get from a pure-play big online store and a store connected to a traditional bricks and mortar business. Often the latter will be a less seamless experience, it may lack the ‘standards’ one comes to expect. Myhuntingshop may not be 100% buttoned down as a customer experience, however they are in my experience 100% professional and trustworthy. In addittion they carry stock many other stores don’t and their prices are very good.

I will continue to purchase trough Myhuntingshop, in future I’m likely to email Wouter (orders@myhunting…) before confirming purchase—if only to know how long delivery will actually take. But I won’t shy away from using the store again.

I recommend Myhuntingshop, and Wouter, very highly.

Note. For the record, as my name's associated with this post, I do not advocate/like most forms of game hunting/fishing—beyond pest-control and officially controlled culls. I use this brand/online store for the purchase of technical clothing for hiking only. This is my opinion.

Beware!!

I placed my order over a month ago. After one week from placing an order I received an email saying that they don't have half of my order in stock. I should mention they advertise that delivery time is 5 days! I agreed to wait another few days for the rest of my order. But it's been over a month and I haven't received anything. I asked them to send me part of my order but they don't bother as they don't want to pay for delivery twice! It's not my fault, and it should be clearly stated that I will wait so long for my order. All the items supposed to be a b-day gift for 25.08. Here we have 15.09! I sent them few e-mails but no reply!! Also left a review on FB page but they removed it!!! SHAME!!!!!!!!!! LIARS!!!!!! Do not buy from this shop!!!!

All sorted in the end

Then out of the blue a phone call from Francisco Alexanberg, an apology and in the post a free gift so I give them the benefit of the doubt and will try again hoping for a positive result next time. Good prices, and quick delivery

I just got my ordered 686 LPA rear sight in the mail, and it took roughly 2-2,5 weeks (where large portions of the time was due to the German and Swedish postal service).

The price I paid was a little less than half of what I would have to give should I have bought the sight at Midway or some other store in Sweden (~400SEK vs ~1k SEK).

Also had some contact with the customer service (as I was a little worried from reading some of the reviews at Trust Pilot, and wanted to check it out), they were quick at responding and seemed to be professional and serious about their store.

As for the LPA Sight itself, it was the same make and quality (no copy in other words) as the more expensive one that my friend bought in Sweden. Easy to mount and without any defects.

So in conclusion, my shopping experience at My Hunting Shop was a good one, and I see no reason not to give the highest rating.

Magnificent!

Found this shop while searching for Rohm airgun parts which are almost impossible to find since Rohm stopped manufacturing. I plumped for myhuntingshop shop as they offered a London number so it was easy to make initial contact. They found some of the parts I required and I quickly received my order. Unfortunately due to a small manufacturing defect some of the parts would not work. I emailed myhuntingshop shop for advice and replacement parts were issued immediately and once again received quickly via DPD.
Also both Francisco and Wouter we're not only helpful and reliable (always emailed me or phoned me to keep me up to date) and they both speak excellent English!
