What a rip-off! They bait you in, with what looks like a one-off test, for fun, that costs a pound. One week later, they take £29.99 out of your Paypal account, because you are now "on a training Pro... See more

My name is Ryan Hematlal, I Subscribed to My IQ without knowing they would charge me a monthly fee. This is not why I am writing this review. After cancelling my subscription and emailing them i kept getting charged more and more. They replied and promised a refund, what a joke, Weeks after weeks they keep lying about a refund and now they keep charging me, I have proof of them charging money from me and I will not rest until i get My money back. Do not trust this company, it is complete and utter theft, To add on they have this bot called “David” who replies to every email instantly so there is literally no real person we can talk to.

This company is a scam! I had cancelled my subscription within a few days of the Fred trial back in 2025 only to find a charge for $44 on my visa in May 3026! Zero help from customer support. Stay away from this company as they are actively ripping people off.

Some answers I marked right but at the end it was switched to an incorrect answer , feels like I couldn’t have made the same exact score, I felt like I didn’t do as well on second one. Probably will not keep subscription.

I paid to use there test for a one off. After add popped up on my fb feed.
I was then charged a monthy subscription fee of 29.99.

Hello,
I am requesting an immediate cancellation of my subscription and a full refund for the unauthorized charge on my card. Your website uses misleading interfaces regarding the 7-day trial period.
If the full refund is not processed immediately, I will initiate a chargeback dispute with my bank for fraudulent billing practices and report this to consumer protection agencies.
Thank you.

I've taken other IQ tests and registered 138. This one says 113? I doubt I lost that many IQ points over the years. This test might as well generate a random number.

yes this whole website is a joke i NEVER PAID FOR SUBSCRIPTION i literally clicked
IM NOT INTERESTED FOR A REASON and you stole my only money even though i paid for iq test to support your company AND I PAID JUST FOR THAT NOT SUBSCRIPTION you also NEVER TOLD ME that i have that, not a single message, not a single email so i was scammed for my only money i literally cannot affort food or water until half of june i hope you think of that as much as you can

It showed me the answers that were not mine instead of my answers. One answer it showed as skipped while I remember answering. This is the strangest test I took, the questions were nice though. Some of them are ambiguous, if it is intentionally, the test is flowed.

BE AWARE Its great to do the test but just be aware you are automatically signed up to a subscription. Like many others just did the £1 test at that point no indication of any further subscriptions any subsequent emails look like marketing which we all generally ignore, which is where they get you that's the point to cancel. At the time of the test no indication of any sort re a subscription and I definitely wouldn't have progressed if I had in fact I didn't pay first time and they followed up but again no subscription mentioned and |I though its only a £1 !!! - Now I've noticed it was easy to cancel but feel I was completely conned. Have requested refund standard reply have asked for complaint escalation and ombudsman still awaiting their reply. Its obviously poor practise even when I rang my bank they said they had loads of issues with this company. I will continue to try for a refund no one can afford to loose this kind of money this is such poor business practise and it should be banned just be warned
