A scam

A scam. Do not engage. You pay £1/$1 to get your results and then they proceed to take £29.99 from you via PayPal. I will be contesting this as the website said nothing about the £29.99 subscription. Do not use this site

SCAM

SCAM! Do not use. I did their IQ test and paid the £1 for the results. Three weeks later £29.99 was taken from my account. Which I missed as I moved house that date. The following month another £29.99 was taken. I tried to cancel the subscription but after reading about the experience of others I was not convinced it was actually cancelled so I contacted my bank. They were well aware of how this company operates.

My IQ Scam please don’t send any money at all
This is a scam they offer you the chance to get your IQ for little then take 2 amounts out your account .50 & .70 but it doesn’t stop there they then a 25 days later they take 34.99 subscription out your account even though you don’t realise it was in the small print which is illegal if you don’t realise you are signing for it. Plus if it was legal they would send you subscriptions documents as soon as you sign but they don’t which is also illegal. My bank wouldn’t give me a refund but I have raised a dispute and will be informing the fraud department of the police what these scammers are doing! I will be writing to trading standards also.
Thank you

Myiq.com have taken payment of £29.99…

Myiq.com have taken payment of £29.99 for a monthly subscription I did not sign up for after doing what thought was a one off test with them for £1. It’s impossible to see how to cancel the payment.
Do not try their online test!

I did an IQ test and to get a print out…

I did an IQ test and to get a print out it would cost $0.50 and I was charged that twice. To my surprise a week later, I was charged for a subscription of $29.99 I did not request. I have requested a refund and was asked to send my email address , last digits of my card or print out. as they could not find any subscription. I did all that to then receive the same automated answer that a refund could not be given.

I DID NOT subscribe to this chaos

I DID NOT subscribe to this chaos. I am a 74 year old widow. I can’t afford to have $50 taken from me. I have tried reaching out to this company, but no one has the courtesy to respond. Everyone here is smart enough to know, you aren’t trustworthy, MyIQ is a scamming company and soon all will know about your untrustworthiness

I supposedly paid $1.00 to get results from an IQ test on line. I received that 1:00 charge charge in two .50 charges, and it was paid on 2-2-26. Now, however, I find on 2-9-26 a charge pending on my credit card for 29.99 for ref 009888 from MyIQ. This site is a scam! Do not fall for it!

Myiq sign you up for monthly debits

I signed up for an IQ test for £1 (mysteriously taken as 2 x 50p). I gather I and many others were then charged a monthly direct debit of £29.99 unwittingly. I have contacted the company but they're stalling - no refund yet

I will share with you a long and…

I will share with you a long and detailed experience. I took this IQ test in December of last year. I hesitated to submit after taking the test but when it said it will only cost $1 for me to get the result and it comes with the free trial, I decided to pay for $1 via Apple pay. They sent me the result but my apple pay
showed two charges of 50 cents (total was $1). Since the total was $1 it was ok with me. Since I know I only signed up for the trial, I did not cancel any subscription. A month after, I saw a charge on my Apple pay for $29.99 from myiq. Luckily it was declined because I did not have enough credit to suffice the charge. I emailed/replied to their email which I received when they sent me the result (the signer on the email was Dr Sarah Chen) and requested to credit me back the $29.99 but did not receive any reply. I also submitted a request for unauthorized transaction for a credit with Apple but got no reply either. Most probably myiq has written the fine prints all over the email they sent but I can say they show no interest in letting the customers know what they truly signed up for to make the customers aware that they are to expect monthly charges coming up. I realized that myiq record show that I am subscribed at their end because I still continue to get the notification that the charge on my Apple pay has consistently been denied, so I presume that email sent to them was either unread or dismissed as an invalid claim request not worthy of attention. I know did not sign up for the monthly subscription because I know my IQ will not change every month or so. I don’t expect it to drastically change. It was a realistic and practical decision. This was what happened and I wanted them to refund the charge of $29.99 (which could have been more if I used a credit card). If they don’t, I will let it be. For those who take the time to read this, just be aware of what the trail period means when you want to avail of it before it will cost you.

After paying $1 for a 'one off' IQ Test…

After paying $1 for a 'one off' IQ Test my account was debited $48. I 'didnot' subscribe OR authorise them to do this. No courtesy email sent from the company to inform me.
I have emailed them requesting a full refund immediately.
I shall document my progress on this site and cross my fingers they respond honorably.
