Must have for Joomla

Must have for Joomla!
I could not live without it. I support 65+ Joomla! sites, automatic updates for other must-have components, automatic backups, audits, bulk package installation, and upgrades - it makes my life so much easier. Phil is quick to reply, many times available on chat, this subscription is my best investment.

You need myjooma.com.. You really do

Phil is my go to guy for anything that goes wrong on my joomla site. He is fast.. trustworthy.. fantastic! The monthly service has also helped me a great deal and it is so informative. The best thing that's happened to the internet!

Definitely use this service...

I thought our company website may have been hacked, so went looking for help on the Internet and came across myJoomla.com.
Although in the end I didn’t think I had been hacked, I asked Phil to look over our website anyway and he made a number of important changes. All of which was explained to me.
Our site now runs faster and is definitely more secure.
Phil is a teckie, and tells you how it is with no frills or fancy words. Some may be upset by that, but you get a fantastic service run by somebody who knows what he is talking about.
I have gone with Phil’s subscription service to keep our website tip-top. Soon I will also get Phil to look over my personal website.
I would definitely recommend Phil’s service.

Where do I even begin?

Where do I even begin?! My Joomla is the lifeline of our web business. My agency relies every day on the platform's outstanding monitoring service. Ever since we signed up for myjoomla.com monitoring a few years ago we've been able identify threats and take immediate action as soon as they are happening. Furthermore, Phil is there to help you 24/7--literally. We recently had a issue with a website and Phil jumped in to help us after having been on a plane across the Atlantic. That is what I call unparalleled service! If you run a Joomla website, myjoomla.com is a must! Thank you Phil and thank you My Joomla!

MyJoomla was a game changer for me

MyJoomla was a game changer for me. Hosting 50 websites, I am able to quickly check all sites for updates daily, greatly improving all my sites' security and performance.

Not only the service is extraordinary…

Not only the service is extraordinary but the person behind, Phil, is amazing. He've fixed all the template errors from my Joomla Template and upgraded to PHP 7 in no time.
He provided me the best professional assistance ever and even answered my emails at the same minute.
I recommend him to everyone!

Painless!

We reached out to Phil to update our site's PHP version. The project was completed in a very timely fashion and I had direct contact with Phil the entire time. He even reached out our hosting company to make some additional improvements. Extremely satisfied!

Simply the best!

What can I say. myJoomla is the BEST! I have been a subscriber since May, 2017 and never had any problems with the tools or Phil himself. The negative reviewers may be making things up I think or just lame.

Two examples.

1. I was burgled in March 2018 and as a result my credit card had to be cancelled. Not remembering EVERY auto payment I had, it was declined at Phils end. I explained what happened and he was so good about it he continued my subscription until my new card arrived.

2. Today I had trouble connecting a new clients site. Phil helped me sort it out in minutes and explained what the problems might be which I am looking into now as this is a new upgraded server and is my fault entirely. He did all this at 4am in the morning his time as he was still working!!!

How could anyone complain about service like that. He didn't sound grumpy at all but I could tell he was factual and knew his stuff thoroughly!

THANK YOU AGAIN PHIL YOU'RE A LEGEND MATE!

Rude

Had a trial membership and tried to cancel it - but he would not delete my personal data and sent me an email that made me scratch and shake my head... trying to scare me that my site was really insecure and that I should use his services - and on top of that explaining me that I only had the right to have my personal data deleted if I lived in the EU - well I do live in the EU and have implemented many cookie & privacy policies on many websites according the new GDPR... but that is besides the point - if you want to have a guy treating you with disrespect than you have come to the right place

There is no such thing as a trial membership. myJoomla.com is a subscription service, with a single free audit to experience our multi-award winning tools.

myJoomla.com is fully aware of its requirements and your rights under the GDPR and when you emailed us demanding we "delete all [your] information" we replied in 4 short paragraphs.

The first, clearly stated that your site was insecure (a fact highlighted by the myJoomla.com audit, your Joomla site has multiple security issues and can still be hacked). We did not state you had to use our tools to fix this. We simply noted it so that you were fully aware of the facts.

The second, We also clearly told you that if you made a request, as is your right under GDPR, then we would process that request to the timescales and requirements under the GDPR regulation, this however doesn't mean we have to delete "all information", just your Personally Identifiable Information. We also have to comply with other laws and protect our company against fraud and abuse of our system, therefore we use an industry standard cryptographic blind hash of data that is removed to prove that the data has been removed, and to protect our system from abuse (like you repeatedly signing up for free trials to bypass paying). We included a link to our GDPR overview page https://manage.myjoomla.com/en/gdpr/overview which clearly states our policy, allows you to export your data, and file a request.

The last paragraph in my email states I had removed you from our mailing list and set your account to archived to prevent you getting any further emails from you.

Then out of the blue you rated this response a 1 star on trustpilot.

Can't live without it!

Using MyJoomla now for over 4 years with around 50 sites. When I started to use Phil's service I immediately found some small issues on my sites however I was always careful to set things up the right way. I haven't looked back since then. It's an invaluable tool for everybody with one or more Joomla websites. And MyJoomla is constantly being developed forward. So I'm very happy.

Regarding Phil, he can come over as a little grumpy sometimes but he will always help or answer you in a remarkable fast way.

myJoomla.com is a good service, the support is horrible - so not worth it.

I had a myJoomla.com subscription for several years. It was a good service, unfortunately the support, in my opinion, is horrible.

On the few occasions over the years when I needed their help to fix a hacked website, they were able to quickly repair the damage. However, they were ALWAYS rude and condescending. They were arrogant to the extreme. Their attitude is exceedingly unprofessional. I dreaded contacting them for anything.

I eventually decided that life is better without working with toxic people and I chose another service. I am happier for it. The new service does a better job and is delightful to work with.

myJoomla is now trying to remove this review because it is negative. I have only posted a few negative reviews in my entire life. I ONLY do so when absolutely necessary. This is one of those cases. I stand by every word in this review.

EDIT: As you can see from his response, he is a very negative and angry person and directs this to his customers. He also required his name be removed from my review which I did. I then had him remove my name from his.

Fact. I did NOT fix the hacked, 10 year old windows hosted, hacked site. I declined to work on your site. I did not charge you for anything. Because I turned down your work, you went full on crazy at me, refused to upgrade, refused to invest in your hosting,

Your subscription was terminated for abuse after you did not like the fact we laid out the facts that your 10 year old hosting solution and out of date site were not fit for use. You expected that a myJoomla.com subscription gave you access to unlimited FREE consultancy on issues unrelated to a myJoomla.com service, and become abusive once told we dont work for free and that we were declining to fix your issues (All of which were out of our control anyway!). We provide myJoomla.com subscribers FREE support for our service - not free support for every life matter. I was happy to terminate your subscription and block your account for life. We, like you, refuse to deal with toxic, abusive people - even if they are paying £5 a month....

Today the site is still Joomla 2.5.27, out of date, hackable, end of life, running on hackable Microsoft-IIS/7.5 server. All our advice was ignored.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. After our joomla instance was hacked, I was able to restore from backup, fix the security holes, and setup security audits moving forwards. Cannot recommend the service enough to anyone who runs a joomla instance.

Fast and Reliable - Fixed my Problem on Same Day!

I'm glad a stumbled upon Myjoomla, Phil the manager, was able to fix my website issues, update, secure, and provide extra tweaks at a low cost. He manually worked on site and performed extra tasks upon request.

I would definitely use his service again in the future! Although there are a lot of other sites available, I was satisfied to know and able to talk to the Phil the person working on my site which gave me a sense of security.

Myjoomla also provides advanced extra helpful webmaster for those interested monitoring and taking a closer look on their site!

Super professionial tool & service

myJoomla is just simply excellent
- when you want to maintain your Joomla websites (updates/upgrades/notifications/...)
- when you want to improve the quality/configuration of your site (audits, ...)
- when you get from someone a hacked site and you want to clean it

Great Service - grumpy owner

I have used Myjoomla services several times to restore hacked and corrupt joomla site. Phil Taylor, the owner, has developed an excellent set of tools which automate the restore process. For a modest additional monthly fee his services automatically monitor your site to ensure it is protected and up to date.

While Phil's tools are exceptional, I have found his demeanor communicating towards clients somewhat 'snarky'. eg If you do not read every email his system sends - and later ask clarification on a topic buried in one of those emails - don't be offended by the tone of his reply email. Just saying.

Nevertheless, I continue to be a client of Myjoomla, until a better set of tools arrives - this one will to the trick.

Customer's subscription payments failed time after time because he maxed out his credit card, Told us that he did not bother reading any of the emails explaining the situation that we sent him and then became angry when we explained that our service was a subscription service, and he could not use it without payment.
