Abby Shaw at Octopus an Absolute Star!!
Well, I switched to Octopus after an issue with NPower Select and their useless customer services. The switch occured just after New Year and was a breeze. Now, I wanted to go on their Go tariff for my electric car and once the switch was done proceeded to apply for the tariff. But, I then received an email saying it wasn't possible to install a Smart Meter at my property. Anyhow, called Octopus and Abby Shaw took my call. Explained the situation, she checked and it seems as though the mobile signal they use for the updates (they call it a WAN) isn't strong enough. However, undeterred she switched my tariff from the standard one to the Octopus Tracker (much cheaper than standard) to save me some money and also booked in a smart meter appointment for the engineer to fit one and hopefully it may work but if not then it's there for the future. Plus, they're going to install an Isolator switch which is what I need for my EV charger to be installed. Total time from the phone call to Abby to install is going to be 10 days. NPower Select never responded (even to an official complaint) to my enquiry after almost two months...I rest my case!!
SUPERB
London Power have been absolutely excellent so far! The customer service is friendly and efficient, I've been emailing Molly who's been a pleasure to deal with. Their tariffs are great and their website and emails are straightforward and clutter-free.
Another big plus - they're green and reinvest profits into London's communities. If you're considering switching I would definitely recommend!

Honestly, not only they are green but they have the best customer service ever. I had a query following my monthly payments being changed due to my previous supplier's projection, and following a feedback left I got a great reply as they have addressed EVERY single thing I've mentioned or I was doubtful about. Definitely recommend. Keep it up guys!!!!

I was originally with Octopus but then was introduced to London Power. after 2 years reporting wrong meter, they were really honest and refunded me the wrongly charge bills and every single time I contact them, they were super helpful! I would stay with them if not because my new place wouldn't let me stay with them! I have no complaint! amazing company!

Got a quote from them but was surprised that it was the most expensive of all the others I had by a long way. Perhaps the Mayor should direct his attentions to the traffic problems he's created instead of vanity projects like this.
