Amazing Service from Ellie at London Power

Ellie was amazingly responsive, sorting a complicated issue easily - replying to all of my emails straight away, offering options and being flexible. The service from London Power (Octopus) was well above anything I've experienced before - thank you Ellie!

Great customer service from Iman

I contacted London Power a few times with different queries. Iman was great they responded swiftly and provided the information I needed which was most helpful.

I can't receive my bills for 2 months…

I can't receive my bills for 2 months now because of the amateur people working in this company.
Every time I am calling them they find completely different reasons of why my bills are not issued yet.
First time I called them they told me they couldn't issue a bill as they were waiting for me to submit meter readings (a couple of days delay) which I did straight away. No bill.
Second time I called them they said they can't issue a bill as they were still waiting from a previous company to give them final bill info (which the previous company said London power don't know the process). I sorted out the final bill and after three weeks still no bill from London power.
The third time I called them I found out that my account is in the dispute because the meter readings day and night ones were swapped (well, I called London power in the very beginning of my tenancy to find out which reading was night and which one was day one - as a result they themselves entered the readings apparently incorrectly; the month later I was giving them new meter readings and called them to find out why night readings were higher than day readings and London power told me that this is how it should be). Now I can't get my bills which affects my life. I filed a complaint and asked them to email me the details of the complaint and no one did anything! But I was told that I have to wait for up to 4 weeks for the result of the dispute which was their own mistake!
I can't even file complaints as the phone number and email address are the same for everything - and are monitored by the same amateur people.
Very disappointing!

We have been with them for two years or…

We have been with them for two years or so, now. No problems with supply or payments. Their bills are very clear in terms of showing your usage. Moreover, just switched to their lower price tariff - which was very easy and straightforward.

London Power and Octopus are the best!

London Power (part of the Octopus group) is without doubt the best energy company I have dealt with. I have dealt with many over the years and not found any to be as easy to contact or have as transparent information and helpful staff. I would particularly like to single out Ellie from my most recent experience. Although, she is representative of other excellent colleagues, Ellie took the time to understand my issue and in a couple of days, resolved it. It is not only the efficiency I commend her for, but also for exemplary customer service in keeping me informed throughout. I am unsurprised by Which Magazine's recommendation for this company; my personal experience validates their findings unreservedly!

Horrible service! Everything wrong!

This company is the most amateur and has a horrible customer services.

I’ve been trying to resolve a crossed meter for 5 months now and still can’t see the new meter sending the correct smart data to my account.

I complained to them explaining that they need to send an engineer here to connect the meter properly and they just asked my reading to them charge me a lot of money for a calculation of usage that doesn’t make any sense.

I sent to them screenshots of my online account proving that the meter is not working but they just ignore and take more than a day to reply any email regarding this issue!!!

I think the only way to solve this is moving company it seems, which I will do!

Switch to Octopus

Wanted to switch from London Power to Octopus (who supply London Power) for their export tariff and Zara could not have been more friendly or helpful.

Left me with a smile on my face!

I've used London Power for the past couple of years and they have been really great. Dealing with them is always pretty straight-forward. I just spoke to a brilliant and kind call operator (Lewis) about a move to a new address; Lewis knew exactly what to do to help with my situation (moving out of London and switching to Octopus) and contacted me via email to confirm my next steps. It's not common to be left with a smile on your face when dealing with utilities companies, and yet...

Outstanding Customer Service

The Representative Ben was helpful, pleasant and efficient.
The issue was resolved immediately.
In conclusion, we are very happy with the cost-wise savings and professionalism.
We would definitely recommend this Company.

London Power Excellent Value and Service

Have been with London Power now for over two years and have always found Sophie quick to respond to my queries with quite satisfactory information.

I have no problems during my association with the company and their service and value is secind to none.

I would definitely recommend them as your energy suppliers.
