The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress is a modern hybrid designed to deliver balanced support with luxurious comfort, blending the two without compromise on either. A responsive pocket-spring core of up to 5700 springs works in harmony with layered comfort foams above it to distribute weight evenly and help maintain healthy spinal alignment, ensuring you awake free from aches and pains in the morning. The Hybrid Pro mattress is a medium tension mattress, with cushioning that relieves pressure at the shoulders and hips without excessive dipping.

Origin has applied no less than four layers of high-quality fillings above the spring system. The top layer is a sumptuous layer of HexAdapt Pro, which provides a 'weightless' layer of luxury as you climb into bed. Underneath this is the HexaGrid Plus layer, which is a foam layer that is soft and instantly responsive, providing yet more comfort, albeit with a higher density than the top layer. Next is the cooling GraphiteCool Thermolayer; a graphite-infused layer of foam that is proven to draw away heat and moisture more efficiently than other brands. This cool layer is complete with grooves to aid the movement of air through the mattress. Underneath the cooling layer is the final layer of fillings, a natural layer of BambooAir Wool, which has all the benefits of natural bamboo and wool, effortlessly remaining cool and comfortable and working with the graphite foam above to keep the core of this mattress comfortable at all times.

The Origin Hybrid Pro mattress has two layers of pocket springs. The first is a layer of delicate micro-springs that fine-tune the support offered by the mattress to ensure you have comfort from the top down, but this layer works to begin the support that the body requires, ensuring the lumbar region in particular, is not able to sink into the mattress too much. There is a layer of comfort foam between the micro-springs and the main supportive springs, which ensures all springs have the foundation they need in order to achieve their durability. The main core spring system is made of TitanCore Springs, which do the heavy work. These springs move up and down like pistons as weight is applied, perfectly mirroring the body's contours to promote good posture through the night. Each spring works on its own inside a fabric pocket. This gives the benefit of good support, but it also means that there is little motion transfer caused by a restless partner in the night.

The Origin Hybrid Pro is a single-sided mattress, so there is no need to flip it over; simply rotate head-to-toe once per season (13 weeks) to help the internal layers settle evenly. We do recommend that this process be done weekly for the first month after delivery.
