What we enjoy about the Olavson frying pans are their quality, heat dissipation, aesthetics, and the option of re-coating when too much scratches or part of the non-stick surface no longer working as expected.

They took my money and then failed to reply to any emails for the next month until now. Unclear if still in business.

*Update* four more months later ... and the frying pan has been returned to me recoated as promised.

Clearly not a scam - just a confusing customer experience. The service itself is as advertised and I can't fault it - great to recycle rather than dispose of a frying pan so I'm pleased.

On the downside it took six months and had to chase all contact several times so customer service is non-existent.

Strange experience - in the end you get what you are after ... you just have to be willing to chase and not mind hearing anything for months on end, and turnaround time is best part of 6 months

5*s for service and zero *s for customer service = 3*s?

The quality of the products is really good, and the packaging was classy and really well thought of. I also loved the instructions sent via an email prior to receiving my order.

Impressed, easy to use, but unfortunately - really easy to scrath, therefore, only 4 stars. I have scratched mine badly due to an accident, completely my fault, so I will keep that in mind. I wish those would be more resistant toward scratches. I have already ordered Wiederbeschichtung. Thank you, Team Olavson

Had to send my pan for a refurbishment after a year of use - upper teflon layer was peeling off. Paid for a refurbishment service on their website, got a confirmation email with no shipping label or any instructions on how to send the pan and how long will it take to complete refurbishment. Contacted customer service - they replied maybe after a week with an excuse that there are so many sick leaves in their company. Well, ok, I told them I still want to repair my pan and gave Tham available days, as required. You know what? No reply again whatsoever. Complete and unacceptable failure in managing a simplest of orders.

I ordered the WOK to give it a try on 4 August 2021, at that time I thought it would take about 30 Days the most to get it.
However, today 15 Sep 2021 I followed up with them, since I still have not received my Order of the WOK, only to be told that I will have to wait another 5 - 7 Weeks.

Very disappointed and frustrated about this, so now I will ask for a Refund, since I have Ordered a Product that never got delivered.

I bought an Olav pan, the quality of which corresponded to the high quality description from the beginning only visually but not "practically", e.g. in use. For reasons of time and because more important things kept interfering, I only contacted Olav 1 year (!) after the purchase and reported my experiences. ALL subsequent emails and reactions from Olav customer care were 100% fast, friendly, respectful and SOLUTION-ORIENTED at all times. Ultimately, the pan was replaced free of charge, including free return shipment of the old/used pan. The old pan was checked and indeed a manufacturing defect was found, which was also communicated to me. I can recommend OLAV, their products AND service 100% and will do so anytime. 10 stars from me, unfortunately there are only 5 to give here ;-).

A product that keeps its promise ! I can recommend it from the bottom of my heart .

Great product and super friendly customer service!

PFOA-free isn’t PFAS-Free. They are suggesting it’s a environment-friendly coating. It isn’t. It’s the same s**t.
