Great support and communication
Have been with Tara for more than 2 years now supporting my children.

After discussing my sons personality and needs, my own tutor worked their magic, by finding Amy. Patient, kind and clear...he's grown in confidence and received a mastered in maths on his last report! Couldn't be more pleased.

We have used My Own Tutor Cheshire for the last two years or so for my daughter’s Maths and English tuition.

She is just completing primary school now. Hilary has given her so much more confidence than before she started and she really has come on as a result of her tuition.

The admin side, payment and communication has also been spot on throughout.

Cannot recommend this tutoring company enough!!! I searched for a tutoring company for my daughter for GCSE revision, preparation and to gain confidence. I was impressed with the knowledge they had and how well they were able to match my daughters requirements with the suitable tutor for my daughter. My daughters confidence has truly grown and its so lovely to see her work so well and have a strong relationship with her tutors who she feels she can talk to when she is struggling in certain areas of subjects. The company work so well to ensure any requirements are met which I think is amazing so children feel comfortable in the tutors company and feel they understand the work given. When my daughter felt she couldn't connect with a certain tutor and couldn't understand Tara went out of her way to ensure again she matched the right tutor for my daughter and very efficiency so work can continue. Tara herself keeps in regular contact to ensure you are always happy with the tutors and will ensure the learning goals are being met. I will definitely be using this company for my other daughter in the future when her time comes to get ready for GCSE's.

Very happy with the tutoring especially for my son who has moved to the UK from India - couldn’t have asked for anything better. Tara is attentive to details, supportive and will cater to your requirements. The tutors Dario (English) and Shahin (Maths) have helped my son love and understand the subjects even more.

We could not be happier with the GCSE English tuition that our son received. The lessons were really well planned and pitched at exactly the right level. The organisation and communication from the office was also excellent. I would highly recommend My Own Tutor Cheshire.

My son was given support with his English GCSE and we’ve been very happy with the service. The tuition was close to 121 as there were only two students in the class and we’ve been happy with the tuition and the administration of the online service. Good communication too.

The tutoring service has supported by teenage sons' learning immeasurably during lockdown. Their confidence in core subjects has improved and they'll be going back to the classroom well-equipped and ready to face their next challenges.

if I could give give a 10 star rating I would .I am so happy and relieved that I discovered this independent company of tutors. Both my children have struggled as I knew there were gaps in their education that were not being rectified at school and that was before this third lockdown.
Did not know what to expect or how the lesson s would flow online but was very pleasantly surprised with how well it worked.The girls tutors are quite literally a God send and the progress in only a few short weeks has been amazing. The lessons are re- building my childrens confidence in themselves ,which unfortunately had been removed from the frustration of feeling left behind at school. I think that personal adaptation to your own Childs way of thinking and processing, is the key to true learning and these tutors excel at this .

I recently started using the service and have found it to be excellent. Very professional and I plan to sign up my kids in the coming days. Communication has been top notch and I’d have no qualms in recommending them to others.

I was very skeptical at first as to the value of online tutoring for my son, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how well the lessons are planned and structured. Hilary is a fantastic tutor and my son is really enjoy his math's lessons with her, even at 10am on a Saturday! He is enjoying the lessons even more now there are other pupils in the lessons. Was sceptical at first about online lessons but my daughter loves the lesson particularly because her teacher, Sarah is so engaging. Probably helps that she is only in her mid twenties and with it so to speak. Thoroughly recommend this service.
