Disappointing
The CV builder was good, however I didn’t want the service long term. I cancelled my within the designated time of the trial and was refused a full refund as ‘I didn’t request the refund on the same day as the payment was taken out’. The fact this would happen was not made clear at all!! Really disappointing and misleading. Just to clarify I did pay for the initial CV I created, the subscription charge was on top of this! And I was only refunded 1/2 of the subscription

This Needs a Class Action Lawsuit ASAP
My sister wanted to make ONE CV. They took around $1,000 from my mom’s card.
Look at the real complaints; there are a huge number of people in similar situations, or even worse.
BOLD is currently named in a federal lawsuit, Rocket Resume v. BOLD (N.D. Cal., filed April 2026), that alleges this exact practice of charging far more than the initial fee.
The FTC needs to investigate this! Too many people are saying the same thing. This needs a class action lawsuit, ASAP!
